Except no professional photographer would ever line a shot up like that...

Now go take a look at the dream team offical pictures and see how terrible they were lined up for those. Being a professional photographer doesn't mean you are above doing things others might not do. Its the equivalent of saying no nba player would ever miss a lay up. It also makes sense to me that Aldridge would be positioned that way given how others players are positioned around him. Quite a few players are staggered rather than in neat lines.

Durant seems to be standing slightly behind Love and Davis, which might make him look a bit shorter. He's much narrower than AD, but nearly the same height. Love is shorter than listed.

And yeah, LMA is legit 7-footer.

I had no idea the guys in the front row were so big. They look much bigger than the guys in the back row.

Probably the same height, maybe about half an inch taller is Davis, but he’s certainly much more filled out, as playing his position(s) would necessitate.

I mean the guys are shoulder to shoulder. And we have no idea their shoes or anything else, but from the image I see no reason to think he's closer. I'll point out my father is a photographer....I've worked in phography (though NOT an expert), but I think I know enough where if it were clear, i'd see it pretty fast. If not clear, and you see it, maybe share?

Well its a matter of opinion but from my pov it looks to me like Aldridge was brought forward a bit to be more in line with PG on the other side who is sort of inbetween the back row and the coaches row. I think he is forward just a bit.

He can play center, doesnt mean he should.
Just caus he is a beast physically, doesnt mean he should be a center.
He doesnt want to play center, there would be a reason behind that.

Well its a matter of opinion but from my pov it looks to me like Aldridge was brought forward a bit to be more in line with PG on the other side who is sort of inbetween the back row and the coaches row. I think he is forward just a bit.

Could be a touch, but the height gap here isn't impacted imo. Now again he might be spanding on something higher or shoes or something. But he's at best a few inches forward.

Because you have no actual relationship to where they are standing. We have a general idea for sure, but if one guy is slightly in front of another it can throw off the perception. Come on, you know this right.
