Why the large gap between Toronto and Washington? Also, why is Utah so high?
Toronto was 16 games better during the regular season and beat Washington in the playoffs. I get Washington added Dwight but Im not sure really how much that is going to add to Washington. Also to be fair I think the bottom 8-9 are pretty close, so someone could easily make an argument for Toronto to be a little lower and for Washington to be a little higher and I probably wouldnt fight it much.
I have Utah really high because I just think they are a very well built team that has very little flaws. Im also going on faith that Mitchell makes a nice size jump and we see his efficiency offensively take a solid jump. I think theyre going to be one of the best coached teams, one of the deepest and probably the best defensive team as well. The loss of Ariza and Mbah for Houston is a big loss for their defense in my opinion and I think we will see Utah be the better and more complete team come next playoffs.
