Incredible how this current Warriors team, or at least the team that is coming when Boogie acclimates, isn't getting any pub as the best team of all time. Sure it hasn't happened yet, but fans are still so blown away that KD joined up that no pundit has stopped to point out that THIS warrior team, will be the greatest assembly of stars and talent in the history of the NBA!!!???

Agree with this. Think Boogie will struggle in games like Sac one where they broke record for 3s. Pace was blazing the whole game.

It's still just the KD show, they be fine come playoff time. Just get out of the way. As KD wins another finals MVP.

I think we are going to be in for a real treat with Boogies passing skills. He is going to put on a show. I think he will make it his mission to fit in with the other guys and he will be looking to set them up from the top of the key. In some ways I see him almost treating this like an all star game and will just have fun. I don't see them using him in too many post up situations, I don't think that will be a good way to go in regards to his recovery.

GSW should make a move for Carmelo Anthony. They'd have an all star coming off the bench. 6 all stars total! Wow!!!

Even if Cousins comes back as Kanter with passing, that's still a huge plus for the Warriors. It allows them to have more options in their arsenal.

Cousins isn't guaranteed to make a good comeback. Achilles did kill Elton Brand. I hope it doesn't kill Boogie, but there are reasons to have reservations. There's also the fact that Draymond and Klay are having a down year.

Not very high on Boogie post-injury. Career ender. Will be happy if he can give average regular starter minutes/quality come playoffs.

As is being said elsewhere, even prime DMC couldn't do the alley oop dunks a la McGee, although Kerr didn't appear to value McGee anyway, likely wrongly it looks now and did to some extent when he was at GSW.

DMC doesn't have to very athletic to match Zaza, or West in the last season of his career, though, and may be able to replace West's passing game with somewhat better shooting, and provide screen setting and rebounding like Zaza's, hopefully without repetitively injuring GSW or opposition key players.

I'm ok with Cousins on GSW to kill the perfect machine.

Passing from a C with low usage/high efficiency to a C with high usage/low efficiency means steals 15% of possessions from Curry/Durant (TS%>> 60) to Cousins (0.538 TS% career... a healthy Cousins)

Cousins is pretty unstable emotionally and his body isnt going to be moving at the same speed as his brain, I can see him getting super frustrated witj himself and that quickly snowballing with frustrations with low usage.

If, and its a huge IF, Cousins buys in and focuses on rim protection, rolling to the rim and scoring garbage buckets like a billionaire's Javale McGee its game over. I just dont see him doing that.

People must forget how good Cousins really is. Even if he comes back at 75% of what he was the Warriors will be near unbeatable. The thing about Cousins is that he is a skilled basketball player. He didn't ever rely on his explosiveness to produce. He can dribble, pass and shoot from the center spot. I don't expect any of that to change because of the injury. Defensively is where he could be a liability, but he's still a huge guy guarding the rim at worst. Plus they already have Draymond and Durant to help cover that weakness.

Boogie is gonna destroy this team from the inside out. The rest of the NBA will laugh manically when that happens.
