We got 2 Highly Skilled big men in AD a.k.a Garnett on roids, a 70-80% Demarcus Cousins which is still way better than Bynum and a solid versatile 6th man big in Kuzma

In the wing section, We got a Top 5 all time Superstar wingplayer in Lebron, The best 3 and D wingman in the NBA right now in Danny Green and a feisty vet in Rondo, All 3 are already Champions and have tons of experience. We also have a bench of solid vets and we are not done yet.

Now to the Clippers, Everyone knows Paul George is Lebron's son since the Indiana days, He's also a well known choke artist come playoff time, his defense is also very overrated, he can't even guard smaller guards like lillard and mitchell, He recently had a shoulder surgery so we don't know if he's gonna be the same player again

Now to Kawhi, His body is too fragile and he's not getting any younger, His body is too high maintenance, I heard he's got a debilitating injury meaning it's gonna get worse as time goes by, I'd be shocked if he can play 50 games this season, He's also not the same defensive beast since his injury and not that explosive anymore, He's gonna get worse, Also his finals run is very overrated if it wasn't for KD and Klay's injury there no chance they are gonna beat the Warriors

Now to the Clippers big men, AD, Cousins and Kuzma gonna walk on over baby boy zubac and 6'7 harrell, harrell aint that impressive either, he's too small to play center or power foward, he's a midget and he's gonna guard AD or Cousins? Are you **** serious? He got bloated stats last year from blatant stat padding from a team who got nothing to lose

Lakers won't have trouble scoring, but defensively they don't match up against PG/Kawhi very well. Danny's too small and LBJ can only guard them in spurts. Lakers will desperately need to add a defensive SF. Stanley Johnson would have been a good fit for them.

But i think Lakers matchup well with them if Boogie is healthy.

Who guards him? Harell doesn’t have the size and Zubac is not very good.

They will probably pickup another defensive big, but probably will be a defensive one, and that weaken them.

Other than Green the Lakers have almost no perimeter defense right now. I just can't see how they are going to be any more than a mediocre defensive team without more guard/wing defenders.

I mentioned in another thread that the better comparison was to the 80s Celtics:

Boogie --> Parish
A.D. --> McHale
LeBron -- > Bird

with the modern personnel having a modern flavor to them. LeBron and Bird the two greatest SFs. A.D. being an all time rim runner than all time post scorer, but still long skinny highly efficient scorer who can block shots. And Boogie adding the modern center passing/3pt shooting/ball handling to the traditional center package.

Now whether that group is going to "finna stomp" the Clippers or not is hard to predict because its a wonderful clash of styles and philosophies of the game. In recent years the NBA has been as boring as its been in a long time because EVERY team felt compelled to play the same way, even if they didn't have the personnel for it, even if they were going to be lottery bound with it. This next season is shaping up to be the most intriguing in a while because you can't just look at teams in one dimension and say, oh, they shoot 3s better, they gonna win.
