Could this team even win 30 games in the NBA?

No, but does this really mean what you probably imply?

Ok..... the plan is actually to get the ball out of Bookers hands so he doesn’t have to initiate the offense 100% of the time. I expect to see quite a bit of staggering between the two as well.

Forget Booker... I can’t wait to see the Ricky/Ayton combo!

How many games does this team win in NBA? According to Kevin Pelton, 56 games.

What I'm implying is that the NBA and FIBA are fundamentally different in a way that really doesn't reflect the presumed talent of players.

I would've thought they'll go with Rubio, Bogdanovic, Ingles, Scola, Gobert.

NBA star - singular - and that depends on how you rank Kemba. My point is that under NBA rules this team loses on a nightly basis.

I would've thought they'll go with Rubio, Bogdanovic, Ingles, Scola, Gobert.

Ingles probably wouldn't even make the top-20 players in this tournament and Gobert was pretty bad against Australia (twice) and Argentina.

Best team is always composed by one player of each the finalists and usually bronze team.
This means.
- 1 from Spain: best was during the tournament Ricky Rubio, but Marc Gasol delivered well in the last two games
- 1 from Argentina: Scola was the best man and Campazzo the second best.
- 1 from France: Fournier was the best and Gobert had only one or two good games

- Then usually you take the best player from the overall tournament. That's Bogdanovic.

- The remaining one you pick again from winning team. Marc Gasol.

Patty Mills would be there instead of Fournier if they would not have chocked twice in semifinals and final.
Campazzo would be there if Argentina would have won.
Donovan Mitchell would be there if the US would have got a medal.
Kemba Walker too if the US would have won.

It is about MVP and the V is for Valuable, not for Better. Who brought more value the his team in this tournament.

They'd lose even in the hallowed days of the 90s for those who think the current rules suck. Guys like Hakeem, Robinson, Barkley and Shaq would feast on that frontcourt. The backcourt is BBQ chicken for Jordan or Drexler.

and "playing basketball" is enough reason to equate this competition and nba basketball?

dragic had a below average season in the nba after being mvp of the euro championships.
