Yep, I thought wanting another contract would light a fire under his ass but I guess not. If he plays like this for the entire season he will be lucky to get a minimum deal.

I think it is more that hes been hurt and doesnt have team defense or offense down yet. He looks like hes out of position a lot. He needs to be more aware of what he can do that will work and stick to that.

I think the problem with the Whiteside fit so far is we can't just plug him into the same role Nurkic plays. They are different players. Nurkic can play the high post playmaker, Whiteside shouldn't get the ball unless he's in position to score.
