A fairer chance of winning, Denver will never be on the NBA's list of preferred teams.

Of course, if the Denver coach can stop the game for 10 minute because they want to have Theis fouled out on 4 fouls, or if the referees use the 3-point line to indicate the restricted area for the charge, then you know Colorado is now California.

Nothing good in Denver, and the NBA doesn't like Mountains. Ate a tasty hot dog in Denver once, so it isn't a bad place, but the NBA office does not care like they do L.A. or NYC.

The Nuggets have the same idea that ruins the Celtics each season, trying to play 10 to 12 players.

They also severely overpaid to extend their draft pick, even worse than the Celtics did.

J Brown is 7th on the Celtics for PER and TS%. J Murray is 5th and 6th for his team.

Anyone remember when M Porter was the consensus top pick in his draft?

Healthy now, but they don't play him, and trade picks so journeymen can take his minutes.

Denver is badly-coached and poorly-managed, like 25 or 28 of the NBA teams are. So Celtics can win, as long as Jokic plays his usual 30 minutes instead of 38.

Game could have set ratings records if Tacko versus Bol Bol Bol was on.

Welp, after one game live, I am traveling this weekend, so will probably be a Sun night replay.
Hopefully they give me something fun to watch!

I have a special dislike for the Nuggets. I really want the Celtics to win this game. Murray is easily one of my least favorite players in the league.

The-Opposite-of-Fun Stat of the Day: Our starting backcourt are shooting 33.86% from the field and 24.64% from three, combined, during this West road trip.

Its the league, not the refs. The league tells them to call it that way. Thats why you never hear of refs being punished. Watch Donaughy interviews, dude might be a scumbag but I believe most of the things he says.
Good assessment:

Tough game..

If we win it would be amazing..3-2 on the road trip, 12-3 after a tough 5 game stretch in 8 days, would tell us a lot about our team. Last years squad would mail it in at this point..

Great points. Team has looked tired since Sac game. I think they will compete but odds are long tonight. Need a boost from an unlikely source. Carson needs to go supernova from 3.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

Well considering we played well in both our defeats. (I don't count bucks loss but even that monstrosity we were in it till 4th quarter). I think we get the tough win we have the fire good test run. Celtics by 6

My favorite non celtics players (Jokic) is not having a great season so far, but he is still the key player for this Nuggets team.
I'm curious to see if Brad is gonna put Theis or Tatum on him.

PRO TIP: If you find yourself leading by 1 with 13 seconds left or by 7 with 141 seconds left, don't lose the lead.

Next tip won't be free of charge.

this game will be the eye opener for Danny to start trying to bring in a BIG. This team is a lot closer then most of us thought this past offseason. The energy on D has been solid this trip and hoping we close it out on a high note! Go C's

Remind me how did Kanter play against Jokic defensively in last year’s playoffs ? Was pretty ok no ?

Edit: Having checked the box score, it was in fact, not ok.

3-2 plus a buzzer loss plus an overtime loss = great trip. Plug 2-3 into the equation and the result is not great, but not terrible either.

Big game but if we go home 3-2 this trip that's a win.

I hope we can finish this West Coast trip on a good note! I would love a win but will accept a close defeat :D

At this stage of the season I just want us to fight and be in a position to win each game. We won't win every game obviously but the commitment and courage and heart shown is important especially for later in the season.
Be nice to me, I am new :D

We are about a month away from Kanter complaining about playing time. And when that time comes, Brad can just pull up the tape from tonight's game to explain why he isn't playing. He's going to get abused out there.

I've got the Nuggets winning tonight by 6-7

Also, **** Jamal Murray. Top 5 punchable face, all time. Right up there with Laimbeer.

Kanter actually played well against the Clippers but you can see by Stevens rotations that he prefers defense over offense which is going to make Kanter the odd man out.

Kanter may've given up a lot of points to Jokic, but he completely shut him down down the stretch of Game 7. I remember him stopping Jokic and actually playing great defense 3 straight possessions in crunch time.

I cannot say enough, this Nuggets team is probably the best second half team in the NBA. They may go down big in the first half, but it doesn't really matter; when they're at home, the altitude changes everything. Teams get incredibly tired down the stretch vs. them.
