Should be interesting to see how his game is affected once John Wall comes back.

its hilarious how Morris most likely singlehandedly ruined the Spurs playoff streak.

No you don’t. Any contender or playoff team would take Bertans over Morris in a heartbeat.

No they wouldn’t especially when you consider how awful Bertans is on defense.

Because he gets exposed every year in the playoffs? Teams stick to him like glue and they target him in one on one matchups ..Too slow to guard 3s and not strong enough to defend bigger players

When you make a three every 85 seconds those sort of freak discrepencies tend to occur. **** i can't spell discrepencies.

Davis Bertans channeled his inner Antoine Walker. He was like threes? **** that. I'm going for fours. And I don't need an extended line or to shoot 27% from long range to do it.

The Spurs did a very un-Spurs thing by shipping a great role player in Bertans for a volatile Morris, and it came around to bite them in the ass

He's one of the best catch-and-shoot 3pt shooters in the league. 6'10 with a high release point, deep range, quick release for a 6'10 guy, moves well without the ball to get looks. I love what the Spurs have always been about, but they very clearly under-utilized Bertans. Scott Brooks has almost doubled his 3pt FGAs.

Me too, the ironic thing was that someone offered me Marcus Morris for Bertans last night and I laughed him off.

You act like i don’t know any of that  And it’s obviously he would excel in a fast pace offense , but the guy will get shut down and exposed on the defensive end once the playoffs roll around ..

He also had a hot start last year only for his 3 point % to dip down to 32% after the all start break.

His playoff sample size is pretty small...

Also, SA doesn't use him like the Wizards. They actually run plays for him and he has more confidence/carte blanche to fire away. He's been unreal this year. Underrated passer, too.

They should play off each other well in theory. Wall is a downhill PG who draws defenders to the lane/away from the perimeter, while Bertans’ outside potency should open up the lane for Wall.

I agree with everything you said ,but He’s still unplayable in certain matchups this Is a fact that will never change .
