Came in to say this. Roy was one of the smoothest ballers I’ve ever seen live, the game came so naturally to him. Special shout out to White Chocolate as well, he’s another smooth criminal.

This is Joe Johnson, student of the Iceman, the thread. Why is he not on that list?
Rest of y'all are requesting hyper explosive and shifty players. That's not smooth. It's people that seem to play in slow motion, but in control.

Kyrie is the opposite of smooth. His genius shows itself when he stumbles, recovers his balance, and completes the play anyway.

James Harden is the opposite of smooth. Curry's game is not that smooth.
I'd go with Ray Allen

Not sure how MJ isn't on this list. Not automatically saying he's the smoothest but come on....

How about Matrix? His very nickname speaks of smoothness. He swooped through the air with little visible effort. And he had remarkably little wiggle for a player who was generally that good.

I was thinking of Allen, but the effort as he ran around screens was pretty visible.
Even so, he has to be up there in the rankings.

smooth as in making things look easy/effortlessly?
I guess I'd say Durant in the last few years

Guilty! I am yet to be afflicted with it but looking at my family, I will get a little bit of it one day.

No love for Black Jesus? Earl "The Pearl" Monroe should definitely be on this list.
