OMG a white coach is fired only to be replaced by a black coach! The league is 70% black... What about equal representation?

I know it's sarcasm but don't derail the tread with this

Interesting choice of hire. Didn't think this guy would get hired so quickly after that debacle.

Not sure how.

Rivers isn't great but he's not bad. Good leader with his players and does his best work when the expectations are minimal. This could be a low key great move for Philly. You literately can't say anything positive about Brown on the other hand. Should have been fired years ago.

Coaching Harden/WB is career suicide.

Most logical thinking people understand that Kawhi ruined that team. Very little to do with Doc.

What does an average coach do for Philly? That is literally the worst possible hire. Paying a bunch of money to a coach to get you a second round exit.

So after seeing how the Rondo/Allen, then Paul/Jordan, then Harrell/George situations were handled ... how long before Woj is reporting on discord in Philly?

Yeah, people are so bipolar about Doc that the truth must be somewhere in the middle. He was praised by the media all season long, and then he gave up a 3-1 lead and everyone says he's garbage. In other words he's at least middle of the pack as a coach and can be above average if the personalities on the team fit his style. At his worst he's still better than Brown.

Worst possible hire? That's a hyperbole if I ever saw one. You contradict yourself.

If they hired D'Antoni they would kill Embiid's value and got no assets in return. This way they giving another shot to Simmons-Embiid duo.

Its not about what I like or don't like.

You said its the worst possible move they can make. And it doesn't take much effort to name a random candidate to instantly prove that statement wrong.
