He's not even that. He couldn't even beat out someone like Tony Bradley for the backup C job last year and ended up getting buried deep on the bench most of the season. Speaks volumes when the Jazz were willing to add picks just to get out from under him.

Yea i thought he was a decent player but turns out i was remember him on the Nets/Blazers. He was absolutely abysmal on the Jazz last year

Davis is a great locker room guy. The jury is out on whether he can still play. He had some injuries last year that might have held him back.

This may be a salary dump by the Jazz to free up enough cash to re-sign Jordan Clarkson.

I read on a BBall site that the Jazz needed to free up more cash to stay under the luxury tax and to be able to afford Clarkson.

Clarkson was very good in a 6th man scoring role for the Jazz after he was acquired from the Cavs last season.
