I was a Knicks fan from 1987 until 2018. I got help. And I'm going to help all of you.
The Knicks are not rebuilding, no one wanted to sign with them. No one wanted to be traded to them. The reason they are getting all the Kentucky/CAA players is because they had to pay an agent to be GM, just to even get players to consider playing for them.
James Dolan is the worst owner of all time. The way he treats ex players, fans, employees, you name it, is pathetic. Hall of Famers come in, as player, coach, or GM, and are ruined forever. This isn't like a few years, this is going on two decades.
In 5 years there will be a new GM, a new President, a new Coach, they will still not have made the playoffs, and there will still be fans touting them for making cap space and stocking up on young players, because that's what denial looks like.
What's the deal with the Knicks bringing on so many CAA and Kentucky players... ?

All very true. Unfortunately, Dolan has shown no interest in the team and some fans can't just give up on their team despite proven incompetence by ownership. The Donnie Walsh/Glenn Grunwald years provided a glimmer of hope as do the NY Rangers (also owned by Dolan, but much better, probably due to Dolan backing off).

It’s battered wife syndrome at this point. They have unequivocally been the worst NBA team for the past 20 years. They have won 40+ games TWICE during that time. It’s not coincidence that things went south right around 2000. The Knicks only chance of improvement is Dolan getting hit by a bus. Otherwise Knicks fans should expect another 20 years of incompetence.

I mean yeah. It's just from how they treated Ewing on his way out, to the way Marv was kicked out, to protecting Isiah and everything he did, to how Oakley and Spike Lee were treated, to kicking out fans. I just reached a point where it was too much. I respect everyone who won't give up on them, but I also feel supporting them shows Dolan there are no consequences to what he has done.
