exactly this. There’s a lot of money to be made in crypto, you just need to pick projects you do your research on and feel comfortable with. Off the top of my head, Bitcoin, Ethereum, XLM, Vechain, BNB, TRX

To be fair, there is a lot of reason to be optimistic about Dogecoin. Elon Musk is pushing it... the Dallas Mavericks are accepting it as currency. It's currently worth as much as a U.S. quarter. If Dogecoin is added to Coinbase, as many are speculating, the value will receive another boost.
how often are you shopping for a Tesla? How often are you going to a Dallas Mavericks game? Just like the last pump in February, the drop will be sudden and it will be huge. I don’t know where this will top out at, but it’s a pyramid scheme and too many people will be the bag holders. This isn’t GameStop where there was a sound logic to it, this is a bunch of people buying a meme trying to get rich quick.

Only one way to find out. The returns I made today alone were more than I've made on any stocks I've invested in. Again, I invested an amount I'm comfortable losing, however, if it hits $1.00 (and that's seeming increasingly probable) then that investment will end up being an amount that's equivalent to significant downpayment on a house.

 Dogecoin is ****, meme joke coin and its pumping just because of tweets and Musk etc. Things like this put a shadow over crypto..

There is a lot of legit working projects in crypto, of course BTC and ETH are in class of their own, but Cardano could catch up on ETH this end of year, then you have Polkadot, ChainLink, Vechain, Trustswap, ShareRing, Utrust, Theta, Enjin, Uniswap, Binance coin bcs of the best crypto exchange in the world etc. A lot of legit good projects with usecases for crypto and real world.

This is what bothers me. I don't care for people recklessly losing their money, but if it causes the next crash or an alt crash I'll be very disappointed because the general consensus will go back to "Cryptocurrency is unstable". It took Bitcoin what, 3 years to be taken seriously again? Hopefully we see the winners from Doge put the money is the legit alts and give them a spike.

If it hits $1, that means it would have a $130 billion dollar market cap and would have the 3rd highest behind bitcoin and ethereum. That isn't going to happen. Just because it is worth .25 cents doesn't mean it has a ton of room to grow. There's a massive supply of dogecoin. It's value is limited by that.

I have made about $20k on this big spike up by Doge. Already took my profits and put it all on Ethereum and VeChain. Left a small amount in Doge to see if it can hit a $1. With Musk backing it, actually might happen

I keep trying to buy and I make it all the way to the review order part before it says "something went wrong please try again later." Any advice?

Ahh I am not familiar with it. I am using Voyager digital. But it could be due to the huge amount of traffic right now. With the Coinbase IPO that happened on Wednesday, crypto world experiencing an influx of new investors in general. Doge, with Elon Musk’s tweets and its meme status, has attracted a huge percentage of both old and new investors. I would keep trying. I think this spike will last until Sunday evening, and then will contract a bit early next week, as people will take their profits.

I made a few millions in Ethereum that I bought 2 years ago. Still haven't sold any yet. As for Dogecoin, people can pump it but market cap is now 40 billions. Elon and Cuban aren't pumping it beyond this level. At .50, it will be around 80 billions, and at 1.0 it will be around 160 billion.

15-20 billions is the speculative magic number for cryptos in general without any utility

Right now, Doge has a lot of air without any fundamentals. At higher price, you need bigger money to pump it higher. Personally, I don't plan to exchange my ethereum for Doge at any point in the future.

I had 10,000,000 dogecoin on the cryptopia exchange before they got hacked and lost everything. Im sure I would have sold it in between that timeframe but had I not it would be worth $3,000,000 today.

If you're confused what Dogecoin is, what it does and how it is beneficial, this video will provide all the information you need to know:

A family member put a good chunk into crypto a while back, rode it up then had his account hacked and blockchain disappeared the account.

Another family member actively trades several cryptos and we have a side project re: one. I'm not super into it but if you hit this right like the OP is saying, the volatility makes this a potentially life changing play.

I think you guys are right that Dogecoin -- and cyrptos in general -- are early in their growth cycle. I haven't yet been able to convince myself to buy any, because these things are in essence virtual gold, and I've never owned gold. I prefer assets that generate cash. But I am probably missing out on future crypto gains by being old-school in my mindset.

My bigger takeaway, though, is how flush with cash this country is. For all the talk about hardship, tens of millions of people have money that they don't know what to do with, and they're using to buy cryptos, NFTs, and to gamble like never before on sports. Every other Bulls ad is for some gambling site.

For better or worse. It's essentially gambling with worse odds because the whales control the market.

I'm still afraid to play day trader with my money because I don't understand the markets.

I remember when everyone laughed about WEED stocks and bitcoin and people have made fortunes.

You guys mention al lot of accounts getting hacked?
I'm guessing there is no authority to report that to and make a claim then?

That sounds like what would happen to me anyways. I'd have billions in there and some 10 year old would hack it.

You can buy this on Robinhood - I think worth dropping a few hundred you can stand to lose or maybe watch grow.....

$10 billion dogecoin was just sold 5 minutes ago. Price went from $0.45 to $0.31 in a matter of seconds. That's how this market works. You either win or lose, most lose.

Dogecoin can't sustain this pump. When people start to take profit, it's gonna get ugly real quick.
