Are you excited to play with a very young, up-and-coming squad like Phoenix?

"Very excited, just seeing the hunger those guys had last year making it all the way to the Finals. I saw a couple spaces they could have filled in, and I feel like I filled in one of those spaces they needed to take it all the way again, but to win."

He has impressed me a lot, he is really impacting games on both sides of th floor.

He is playing the best basketball in his career. His per36 numbers are ridiculous (22.5 ppg and 16 boards).

He's having one of those Marjanovic years in terms of PER. Just comes off the bench and puts up immediate double-double in limited minutes. Him and Ayton are both ranked top 7 in fg % while Bridges is currently 15th. That's THREE players on one team shoot a high %

He's had nice impact, even if it's against bench guys. As awkward as he looks, he is a perfect bench energy guy. The turnovers hurt but just the energy, rebounding and ability to finish outside of the rim is nice. He knows his limits, so focuses on the things he's good at.

He is playing terrific ball game in and game out. It's amazing how athletic he is being 7 feet tall. He runs the court like a gazelle and he has a high motor.

Ayton has had great backups since entering the league. So far Holmes/Baynes/Saric/McGee.

I know that is early and age will be a factor (he will be 34 next month), but what type of contract can we offer him next summer? Do we have early Bird Rights after this season?

He is much more than a bench energy guy.

He is playing very well against starting Cs, he has already started on 7 games for us this season. All wins.

As a starter he averages 13.3 points, 8.6 boards and 1.3 blocks. +19.7 with him on the court.

Yeah, he's played well this year. Not bad starting stats for a C. But he is typically better in fewer minutes with more energy.

He is by far having his best season at age 33 and it might be a run like Baynes had that year to start his season before he took a dip. Hopefully not and I have no real reason to believe so other than normal regression to the mean due to the past and age so wear and tear as the season goes on.

I don't think you get bird rights on a one-year contract. The best the Suns can offer is MLE.

We are the only team to offer him a contract worth more than $4m in the past 8 years.

Chris Paul recruiting him based on 10 minutes of junk time is beyond genius stuff.

JaVale dominated like prime Wilt last night vs Hornets' small ball. Yup, traditional Cs are dinosaurs in the "modern" game.

Man I wanted him so bad at last season’s trade deadline. One of the few times I was right lol.

Beating a dead horse at this point but would’ve made all the difference in that Bucks series…Bobby Portis and López would’ve been non impact players with McGee in there.

Good minutes tonight from McGee tonight. Ayton was having a rough game, and the refs didn't want him even touching any Bull player. I am very glad we signed McGee. And a three point threat?
