Wherever you rank H. Barnes Wiggins is behind him.

No. Top 20 probably. The Warriors playing style and ball movement makes their players appear better than they are. With Klay coming back the Warriors should look to upgrade on Wiggins at the SF position to become a contender.

To Warrior fans.. what’s the centre depth chart look like when healthy? Wiseman, Looney, Bjelica?

not to mention when you consider how other comparable guys would look playing in GS system with Curry. I mean how good would a guy like OG look on the Warriors
it's safe to say no
Not sure about Bridges, but all other players you mentioned are better than Wiggs for sure, but it becomes hard to define what a SF really is nowadays: LeBron and Luka are SFs or PGs? If Tatum and Brown are always playing together are they really both SFs?
If we consider all players who can play SF, then yes, Wiggins is not a top 10 SF.
If we consider only players that actually play the 3 "proper", then he may have a case.

Tatum or Brown
Durant
Middleton
Mikal Bridges
Miles Bridges(or Hayward) both better
DeRozan
Butler
OG
Paul George (or Kawhi)
Anderson or Brooks
Ingram
And that's leaving out a few guys that I think have a pretty good case as well like Hunter, Barnes, Powell, Ingles maybe a couple of others.
But he's a solid enough starter playing a kind of team game he didn't ever indicate he could or would prior to the trade. So be happy with that.
funny part is at 18 if you took them all as prospects he would be no lower than third...
Help me with the humor? I think we all understand that being a highly rated prospect is no guarantee of future success. Once they are in the league everyone would be best served to immediately forget where they were drafted and judge them on their current abilities and future projections. I mean we didn't much time to realize that Spida was way underdrafted. Or Brogdan. Or Haliburton. Or Bey. Or countless others. Just like we didn't need much time to realize Bennett and Thabeet and Okafor and many others were way overdrafted.
It's just fans hold on to that perception created by that draft position. Nah, man you got to let that go. Doesn't matter how you get here, once you are here you need to perform.
before he played his first game at kansas, people thought the guy was a surefire leading the league uber athletic wing.... all these players passed him. I just like seeing hard work get the W.

Eh, Wiggins will have made a LOT of money over his career, one that has been very mediocre. Wiggins is getting some kind of W in the end.

I actually think both Bridges are better than Wiggins, I didn't list both here.
I list Luka and Lebron here because they don't guard guards. I think Lebron can nominally play PG like he did in 2020 but he's also guarded by a wing defender. I wouldn't be opposed to calling Luka a 1 completely.

I'd rather have Deandre Hunter and Bojan Bogdanovic over Wiggins. Hunter is a more consistent defender and Bogdanovic is a more consistent shooter.

his career is remarkable. he has not cared his way into numerous great situations
didnt care ended up at kansas playing with joel where he got to take all the credit when they did well. Then he got to #1 despite not caring. He got a big extension while not caring. He got traded to go to the warriors while not caring, and now he has put forth an inkling of effort and he gets to compete for a title while making max money and not being that important. on a personal level, the guy is just a winner. Hes going to have a 16-20 year career off all this energy conservation.

I think Looney will start unless/until Wiseman shows a lot of growth over last season. I think whoever comes in first to replace Looney will depend on matchups. I am really high on Wiseman but the game was coming too fast for him last year and the Warriors are not going to sacrifice wins to develop their young players this season.

I wouldn't trade Wiggins for Barnes straight up. I like Wiggins defense better and think his offense will continue to get better with the Warriors especially when Klay returns.

Nah. Top 20 yes, Top 10? Nah
He's getting better looks however and with how GSW play he hasnt had to but the ball on the deck which makes him look a lot better.

Probably Looney, JTA, Bjeli, Draymond..its really by committee. Wiseman will probably need some reps in gleague before he gets meaningful minutes.

Playing in MN doesn’t stunt Wiggins growth. Being drafted #1 overall, expected to be franchise savior, expected to be not a bust lead dog, paid in manner as franchise player, stunts Wiggins growth.
Turns out Wiggins is best suited as 3rd to 4th fiddle, supportive player with expectations that of a role player (while being paid max).

Re: Is Andrew Wiggins currently a top 10 SF?
Last year, Curry was playing with a "G League roster". This year, he has a top 10 SF on his team (that was also on the team last year).

Losing eg chg of systems stunts player development IMO.

Is that in code or some type of slang I just don’t understand.
