Plus, the added bonus of an injured Bam means we suck a bit more and get another top prospect to add.

I think it actually might make us better

What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

JV would be a loser under Nick Nurse.. Nick hasn't developed a player yet. Nick is not a good developer coach..

 Nick was literally the "special teams" coach of the legendary 2017-2018 Bench Mob, because Casey was more interested in the vets. After Casey was fired, Norm and OG emerged as stars.

And clearly, Scottie's not developing at all under Nick's tutelage.

Not really. Rudy Gay was a pretty talented player, but him and Demar didn't fit (well, especially with Casey coaching).

OG is the clear better fit for either of them, but 1 is 20 and the other is a max player, plus it eases the congestion of them both trying to drive.

Although I do wish FVV would run off screens more like the Warriors. Dude is like really really good at catch and shooting, although I guess we don't have any serious pick setters either.

You mean the same Scottie now shooting 40% from 3 in November?

With Adebayo out that means Siakam is a lock for an all-star spot, right?

Boucher and Siakam for Adebayo?

I can see the Heat being interested in going after JV perhaps?

for what its worth, I don't believe Miami would do this. I just brought it up because someone was going to bring up this annoying diversion anyway.

Weird. It was a thumb injury that sidelined Jonas for an extended time during our Championship season and then he was traded just as he was coming back. The deadline will be before Bam's return, but I suspect they will try tilo plug the front with Morris, Tucker, Dedmon, and Yurtseven and see if they can stay afloat that while they wait, but man, this is very much an all-in season for them as they have to get what they can out of Lowry and Butler.

Keeping Bam is worth punting to next season or beyond if they can't make their run this year, but you have to think that they'll at least consider bringing in a C with some other trade to make this year a more legit contending one.

I hear Miami is looking for a 2nd round pick.
