DeRozan enters COVID protocols

This is just way it's going to be this season. I much prefer this than any of our players sustaining injuries if I'm being honest.

Don't get me wrong, contracted Covid isn't a good thing either, but assuming all our players are vaccinated, and are healthy, I'd much prefer hearing that a player has entered COVID protocols, than reading that they've sustained a significant injury.

Im not surprised. The Sixer team had half their guys out. Hornets have half their guys out. We now have half our guys out.

Now wont be surprised if the Nets guys go out with it too.

Let's see if Zach has picked up a thing or two. Vooch really, really needs to get himself going here. I expect a lot of two-man game from those two with Lonzo and absolutely nobody else spacing the floor.

On the plus side, not that many games during the period he'll likely miss.

On the down side, already without Coby, Caruso, Green, and Pat. You're literally now down 50% of your expected rotation players right now.

If we can go 3-3 in the next two weeks I’ll take that as a big win. Expecting 1-5 depending on Carusos return.

This is terrible news. I would possibly be fine if it was just him out but with Green, Coby, Derozan AND Caruso being out at a same time???? That's damn terrible.

I have a huge faith in god so I think this is just going to have other players step up and show what we have. This will clarify to AKME on what we need and would make it easier to trade players that are not performing well.

Zach and Vuc show on. Vuc needs to play at all-star level now. Lonzo will need to be more aggressive and make his shots now.

My first reaction is I hope DeMar and his family are safe and healthy.

My second reaction is I'm glad he's going to get some rest.

I know he plays the game at a slowed down crafty pace, but I'm starting to get concerned that he's overworked.

Hope he's better soon! But also hope he takes advantage and gets a few extra days rest even if it's unrelated to Covid.

Troy Brown and DJJ sliding into the SL for Caruso and Derozan then?

Could see some Devin Dotson action perhaps? Disappointing to be missing some real heavy hitters, but we're deep and talented. Coby may get a more featured role afterall once he's done "serving his time".

On the plus side, I guess we're about to be to the point where all the Bulls are vaccinated and have had breakthrough infections, so maybe it's better to get it over with this early in the season.
