Sorry Brunson boys..and I’m a nova guy.. levert at the PG is a super huge upside W.

Upside? LeVert is Randle's age...and I don't think he's a lead guard at all

Putting these numbers here in case people want a clearer understanding as to where Fox operates on the court, what stands out as positive and what is absolutely frightening.

Fox is in the top 14 of all players when it comes to attempts from 5-9 feet. Within that group he’s the 2nd most efficient guard behind Morant as Fox is shooting 44.4%. When you look at 10-14 feet (closer to the mid range category) he’s Top 12, but from a guard standpoint he’s the 4th most efficient at 43% behind Murray, Booker and DeRozan. Even as you move to 15-19 feet, he’s Top 16 shooting 46%, which would make him the 5th most efficient guard. Take into account that league average is right around 38% for the mid range shot, Fox is legitimately excellent in that category. Everyone talks about how the biggest difference in Randle from last year to this season was his bread and butter jumper. Last year Randle took 412 mid range shots and shot 41.5% FG. Fox has already taken 136 and he’s shooting 45%.

Restricted Area: Last season Fox was in the top 23 in attempts and shot 68.9% FG. Out of all active guards attempting between 5.4-6.5 shots in the RA statistically speaking Fox was the most efficient guard in the NBA scoring in that zone.

Frightening: This season shooting from 20-24 feet (60 attempts) 30.5% and from 25-29 feet he’s at 26% (100 attempts).

Positives:

Elite finisher
#9 in drives per game this season
#4 in drives per game last season
Very good mid-range shooter across multiple distances
24 years old

Negatives: See above under frightening

i said upside. his health is his issue with him. I can see that being a reason NOT to pursue him but in terms of upside, have you seen what he's done when he's played the last 3-4 seasons? His best basketball is definitely in front of him.

randle is a selfish scum who's age doesn't matter because he'll never change his attitude, greed, or his selfishness.

Remove Grimes and maybe make it one 1st, maybe 2 seconds and that's a deal for Haliburton.

If it's Fox then trade them Julius and call it a day. And he can bring Metu along with him.Fox is just as unaccomplished as Julius. I'm not trading young assets and picks for Fox. Keep it just like Knox and Reddish. Change of scenery trade.

This is dumb.

IQ obi Dallas first can all be packaged for fox..down shooting year but elite speed and explosive finishing at the rim and still not on his prime

You talking

Fox grimes RJ deuce sims reddish Mitch

Core

What I'm saying is the Kings are open to talks about both players. Or that's what's been rumored.

There's are excuses to why Fox hasn't won I'm sure but even right now he's on the bottom 5th percentile in defense at his position, his shooting numbers are poor and he's not really a huge assist generator. Julius has his own set of problems but he's a more accomplished player. I'd trade them Julius for him. It's really the only way not to lose a trade. Might even work in our favor. A change of pace for both players may work well and I don't really see him fitting with Julius anyway. Fox needs the ball in his hands just like Jules. If I'm trading for Fox it's because I wanna push back our timeline a couple yrs and have HIM lead the team.

The trade you believe we should do for Fox is the trade that probably makes sense for Haliburton. Slightly lighter on the picks but Haliburton is a better prospect. He's still on a rookie deal, he's on a tear right now. And if Julius remains Haliburton can play just as well off the ball as on the ball.

Fox is one of the fastest players in the league and he thrives in a fast-paced offense.

Randle is one of the slowest players in the league. He is relatively heavy and slowed feet. He is also calm, methodic and loves to bounce the ball and try to spin. Our team is the slowest team in NBA.

I don't think it's a good match.

However, I love the fit with RJ, IQ, Obi, Cam and Mitch.

No, he's not a good half court player, he can't shoot to save his life and can't play off the ball as a result.

I voted yes because i view him as the only way to trade for dame in the summer without giving up rj.
He can't give us wins but he's a great trading piece.

Agreed I’d rather have a lineup on the court with multiple players that can both handle the ball as well as catch and shoot from the outside.

In my mind, I'm trading Randle for Fox. You are correct, the goal should not be Randle and Fox.

There's pretty much no way they're trading us Haliburton.

3 way trade with OKC sounds fun at first , but I doubt they want an equal expensive contract back if they give up SGA. Most likely want to keep cheap young up&coming kids and picks
