I've only noticed him wearing New Balance since the All-Star game on. He's obviously trying these shoes out cause he's been wearing mostly Kobe's the whole year outside of wearing the Jordan XI's once.

That pic of him wearing nothing but NB tells me nothing..it was obviously a gift pack to entice him to sign with them.

Also, it doesn't matter what shoe you wear injuries are a part of the game. Rose-Adidas, Kawhi-New Balance, LaVine-Nike.

Whatever brand he decide to sign with, congratulation. Zach is not the most perfect All-Star player, but he has worked really hard to get to where he is today. He doesn't take things for granted, genuinely loves his job. So he deserves any good reward coming his way at work.

He isn’t taking less. If you have seen his comments about free agency it is obvious. He still has some sore feelings from the last time he was a free agent, but he has those guys are not in charge anymore. An offer of anything less than the max will probably result in him signing somewhere else. AKME would be fools to even entertain the thought of a discount. It is not even worth discussing a discount because he isn’t giving one. To him a max contract means respect. Asking him to take a discount would be seen as seriously disrespectful. Name another 27 year all-star that wouldn’t get a max contract. You can’t. So don’t expect one from ours. Period.

He owes us nothing. He is just underpaid by about $15 to $20 million right now.

Been wearing New Balance since the '90s. Great shoes for an old guy like me. Sure hope signing Zach doesn't mean the prices are going to get jacked up.
