Imo, it sucks that:

The only human beings making these votes are:

Exclusive media staff members that are selected by NBA executives. There isn't a criteria on how a media member can be an NBA award voting member.

There also aren't consistent parameters set on how to awards, and make all-NBA teams.

Players, coaches, GM's, etc. having an input on these awards makes sense to me.

All good (for me).

Congrats to Nikola.

Hell of a season, and (short) postseason. Hes really **** good at basketball.

I hope he enjoys it with his family and friends like he said he would.

76ers supporter I feel Giannis is the best player in the league and his season was just as good as his two MVP seasons. Would have given it to him.

Good for him and congrats. I probably would not have voted for him but in my mind the race was really close between him, Giannis and Embiid and any one of those 3 would have been a worthy winner IMO.
