I mean besides his injuries what isn't there to like about Brogdon?
Finding another one of him is easier said than done
The injuries are the most defining part of his career. Did you know he's only played more than 60 games in a season twice in his six years? 70 only once.
He hasn’t suffered a devastating injury so I don’t think its crazy to believe his load can be
managed, there can be just as much value in a showhorse as a workhorse. Brogdon excelled in his role here and played a lot fewer minutes, he’s another guy with an old man game that should age well + is locked up on fair market deal. Manu Ginobili was always banged up and I couldn’t imagine the Spurs dynasty without him, perfect world that’s how I envision Brogdon.
Indy made him their 1b to Sabonis, which is not who he is given his injury issues. I think he could be a savvy target, the only reason his value is so low is because of injuries. He knows/likes/is well-liked by our guys and coach. He wouldn't be asked to play heavy minutes or shoulder the scoring load, as he'd be 4th option at best. He's a smart passer, long and willing defender, has a knack for scoring when things get stagnant. God forbid, he gets injured, we still have Giannis/Jrue/Midds to keep us on course.
I would welcome him back, I think his statements about and feelings toward the city were overblown and misunderstood (I agree with what he said, and I love MKE).
