Ugly ugly

Cut the lead in half with 14 to go...since then:

5-8 from three
+1 on the glass
0 turnovers

Much better.

"Watching" the game on ESPN.com gamecast app... ugh not in U.S. tonight. Lead down to 10 with 2 left in 3d

Feeling better.

I like the aggressiveness Luke, but not going to get away with that much of an arm extension often at all

Unforced turnovers...missed at least 7 wide open threes....not a recipe for success.

I know it's early, I know Ty's "tinkering" or whatever, but this team is not passing the eye test for me at all. It looks like 2020 all over again. Just sloppy, stagnant basketball with no intensity. There needs to be massive improvements on all levels.

Preston isn't an NBA player....he seems like a great kid but he just isn't a NBA talent.

Rather see Brown get a five minute stint in place of one of the small ball units next game

This is hilarious. The mindless dopes in Philly are already calling for Doc's firing after an 0-3 start with 7 new players and now it's happening here with Ty.

What a joke. :rofl2: These game threads are unbearable for any Clipper fan who knows anything about basketball. Glad I skipped it.

…did you expect them to lay down? You know the players get paid for regular season games too right? Their expected to play hard and win that’s why they get paid lol.

It’s the same for the Clippers players too and all other teams. They all get paid for regular season games too.

There are many differences as compared with 2020- Kawhi is working his way back into the line up, Ty is having to figure out what combination of line ups work with a lot of new personnel- such as Powell and Wall.

I am concerned about Powell. He is a much better player than what he has shown this season. I think he is pressing too much- he needs to let the game come to him a bit more.

I don't think you can make this comment after for some reason making it seem like a bad thing that the opposition was playing with intensity.

It can't go both ways, one can't say "ha, look at that team trying hard in the regular season", then call out this team for not trying on the regular season.

I wish the Clippers came out with similar energy. Everyone is acting like the Suns are bad now because of their loss to Dallas, but last season they never lost when up going into the 4th, so clearly they had some sort of discipline and resilience to do that a whole season. That also means one should not take for granted getting behind against them. They also made a good amount of comebacks, even just did it vs Dallas, which means until proven otherwise, one should not be lackadaisical about a lead against them.

Clippers are obviously in a very flux situation, Kawhi off the bench, the starting lineup is pretty different, etc. Let's wait at least 20 games before starting to make any proclamations.

I know, and I'm not giving up on them or anything. Eventually Kawhi will be back to normal minutes, and things will get better. But the big problems right now can't really blamed on the rotations. This is the NBA and these guys are racking up turnovers and offensive fouls that would be cringeworthy in pickup games at the Y. I'm not asking for perfection or for October regular-season games to be treated like Game 7 of the Finals, but there's such a thing as being too casual as well.

It will be a while until this team passes the eye test. Especially when we play a quality team like Phx. I don't get this weird minute management thing for Kawhi. Have him start and playing him around 5-6 mins each quarter. Last night was another one of those lackluster start at home, we sure could have used Kawhi during the 1st.

John Wall I think will eventually become our third guy. He needs to start soon. I don't think I can stand watching Reggie as a starter much longer.

The game plan for Leonard is weird. Is it really helping him? It certainly isn’t helping the team. I don’t see them changing it though until he’s through the restriction.

What they can change though is starting Wall. It’s night and day between him and Jackson. That alone would give a charge to this teams slow starts. That’s not to say it’s all Jackson’s fault either.
