We FINALLY deflect a 3s pass and force secondary options for a miss.

2ND Q: SPURS 48 CLIPPERS 64

Well we doubled our 3s output, but unfortunately only stand at 4-11.

On the other end we have allowed more made 3s than we've taken: 14-25. Oof.

I liked the spark at the start of this Q. We lead throughout and won the Q, but becuase of allowing 5-9 from the arc in this Q - so they made more 3s in this 12 minute window than we have in the whole first half. We let up late in the Q - these details, and focus till the end of the horn are crucial for us to learn.

We did a lot of things better, from defensive intensity to pushing the ball in transition to getting the shots we want. But FFS SO many missed bunnies. Feels like we feel rushed. Keldon is shadowed closely and physically and it's not allowing him to go off as he'd like but once again he is pushing ahead and driving the Big Body way.

They have 6 steals at the half so our tentativeness and lack of cohesion with some guys not used to playign with each as much is costing us.

We're rebounding well on both ends, 23-19 and 7-4 on O boards just need to make more of our putback chances.

We're only 2-2FTs - both by Jakob, because of course in a topsy turvy game.

We need to get more physical, get more fouls and get to the FT line, and stay assertive in imposing our game more.

Good points in the paint work, but defending and making more 3s is the big difference. Let's have a better showing on both ends there.

THIRD time's the charm on Jakob's runner. On the one hand we missed easy shots twice. On the other, we fought to get O boards and retain possesison to finally score.

Jeremy: when you have a shot at taking it strong to the rim, make the simple play and take it strong to the rim. Rarely does anything good happen with midair change of mind passes.

Keldon's doing a lot of yelling but complaining to the refs. Hasn't worked all night. Don't expect a bailout. Even if you think it's unfair to not call it. Kepp playing forward.

3RD Q: SPURS 69 CLIPPER 91

A 27-21 Q where shooting woes continue, particularly from the arc. It's doubly tough in that not only have we allowed 19-34 to our 5-18 from 3, but we're missing other shots that we usually make, shots that we're doing a good job of creating. You can tell it's taking some wind out of our sails and the misses mount pressure on subsequent shots - less time so you have to make each shot count all the more.

LOTS of missed bunnies.

Can't hang our heads. We have a lot of work to do with intensity and learning to play thorugh scoring droughts to make things happen defensively and get out of the doldrums.
