So then Masai has failed at his job to provide Nurse with nba talent after Trent? How much leash have these players even been given?
Banton and Flynn have played alright but get no consistent minutes to learn and grow. Not everyone is going to be a superstar like Fred lol. We're a .500 team right now... just develop players while not burning our your main guys.
The bench hasn't been very good this season. Both due to injury and due to guys not stepping up when called upon.
At the same time it wouldn't be a big issue if our starters also hadn't begun to miss all of their threes.
Ok so you're saying Masai hasn't provided Nurse nba level players. Just want to know which side of the issue you're on here.
I agree that our starters sucking is a big reason for this but Nurse has also been running some of these guys into the ground with their high usage.
A bunch of them are NBA level players, and have been in the past, but they have not played well this year, or else they've been hurt. We can survive those things if our starters hadn't also been missing their 3's. We have ended up with a combo of bad shooting from our starters, injured primary bench guys, and poor play from lower down the line bench guys. Like if OG was healthy, GTJ comes off the bench and he seems to do well there. Precious was very good for us last year, although hasn't been great this year, but he's another NBA body that we have been missing that we should be able to plugin without being run off the court.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.
