Brown got them going, but this was a TEAM EFFORT. Hard to pick a Cigar Winner. Most well rounded game this year, Top to Bottom. Cigars to all. Cleveland averaged 30.67 pts. for Q1, Q2 and Q3 but was held to only 21 during Q4. That's where the Celtics won the game. 4th Quarter D was a factor on a night the Cavs only shot 9 Free Throws (versus 26-26 by Celtics) while the Cavs shot 42.2% from 3 on 45 shots.

Good W VS a solid team w some very talented ballers (Donovan, Garland) who shot 19-45 from 3.
Q1 sucked, but then we woke up & played much better D & outrebounded them by 10.
17 more FTs! 26-26 won the game.
MVP excellent line - too many TOVs dammit.
#7 very solid game - too many TOVs dammit.
KP gave us a 20 point second half & was invaluable.
Jru overall was excellent on BOTH ENDS AS USUAL.

DERRICK 17-4-4-1-2 & 5-8 from 3 (all clutch) including the dagger down the stretch. GREAT D. THIS DiUDE IS AN ALL STAR!

Sam a couple of dead eyes as always.

On Thursday, let’s play ALL 4 quarters.
We can beat them by 20 without Mobley.

A win is a win but I really don't see much progress being made in weeks by the team. Just talent gaps. Jaylen and White smoke it though.

Don't try and downplay the Cavs talent. Go player for player and Tatum is the only one far and above. Mobley would be what I'd be basing it off if he were playing. Without him, they are still VERY deep. We aren't talent levels above them IMO. For some reason, it's iffy with them and DM this season, even though his numbers are great.

Cavs are a meh. This game has nothing to do with the Cavs. I want to see improvement. I don't see it. The defense has been worse if anything.

Tatum was the high scorer but ZERO chance he gets it from me tonight. Don't care what his counting stats were tonight. The way he just passively floated the ball around the perimeter was kinda sickening. I mean, was someone telling him not to post up Dean wade? Isaac Okoro? You knew any possession where he lurked around the top of the arc longer than 5 seconds he was gonna stay there until he got the ball back and just hoist. Very few screens set by him. No movement off the ball. When he got the postup he did well but then immediately went back to the arc. Not sure why he does this. Not sure why someone hasn't told him his contested pullup 3 is asswater. He does so much better on the move.

For the good news, I'm running out of great things to say about Derrick White. Just amazing. And as Hal reminded me, his evolution from the player he was when he first got here to what he is now offensively is nothing short of miraculous. He smokes it tonight.

Give KP the CP tonight. SHokk off a rough 1st half to score 19 of his 21 in the 2nd half including some big shots in the 3rd to help us win a quarter that we rarely win; especially when the other team scores 32 on us in that frame. That helped get us the lead and set the stage for us to take it in the 4th.

They may play meh as a winning group, but you mentioned talent. We are better and we work together better (not our best yet ), but they are stacked with good talent IMO.

I don't know what to say, but if you think Tatum wasn't in the VC discussion then you assessed it differently than I did. He doesn't have to play like you wanted to have played very well. He's doing what is needed to win!
