Since Germany was playing 20' away from my home I went with my son to see the friendly preparation game against Holland.

Tha starting 5 of Germany are pretty strong. They play good as a team, they lack depth beyond 8-9 positions.

All NBAers were there. Theis was in really good form, Franz Wagner so and so. Schröder still very hesitant when shooting 3s and long distance. Holland was however a really bad opponent, like way worse than I expected.

Unfortunately Greek NT claimed Giannis is ill and skipped his visit to my city Thessaloniki. Oh my God ... How can you get ill with 100+ degrees Fahrenheit ? illness announced 23 hours before game time and the tickets were sold out. No signed Giannis jersey for me and no Giannis overall in Thessaloniki.

I will return the jerseys and get my money back. :nonono:

I'm watching Fiba U20 Greece-Lithuania and it is much better basketball than summer league

Edit: it was only 1stQ when I wrote that, but it was even more entertaining than expected as undersized Greece played a smart game to proceed to the semifinals. Games are available for free in Fiba.com I believe.

Coaching X&Os matter.

Friendly in a few hours. Who knows if they will actually play, but it is the last one before Paris.

Not sure the temperature has anything to do with being sick. I just had a summer cold and I rarely get sick. **** happens.

I never get sick in the summer and I'm dealing with a cold right now too. Annoying.

No surprise so far. Stay healthy Giannis.
