Hauser's back too - the two of them are struggling and may need more time off.

Just an excellent win and symbolic of who this team is now. They make mistakes. They forget about them and make the next play. They take bad shots. They regroup and put together better sets and play D. They refuse to panic. They refuse to rattle. They just go about their business and beat your ass. And JT another 31/12/6 on a night where at times it's didn't look like he completely had it. He smokes the VC tonight.

They shut down the Bucks in the 2nd half and I think a lot of credit for that has to go to Jrue for the work he did at the POA. He guarded Giannis well and generally harrassed everyone trying to get into their PnR package with Giannis. Basically shut it down. And then he was able to make a few shots in the 2nd half as well. He gets the CP from me tonight.
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

Hauser has been pitiful but perhaps it's the back. All of sudden that 11M salary is looking like a good trade chip to improve our wing depth/bigs.

Hawks game is an NBA Cup game.

No way JT misses that game.

As long as the Cs keep winning, it's not a concern.

Gotta love the consistency of NBA refs by the way. Breathe in Lillard's direction and it's three free throws but undercut Tatum's landing space and it's play on

This game didn’t have a chance without Pritch in the first half.
156-1 Celtics are frauds when pressure is put on them. They would have been toast if Luka was not stupid enough to foul himself out. Enjoy this ONE finals win. There will never be another with the Js and the Celtics cant afford stacked team.
B2B wins trailing 16-2. Cs just spotting the other team a 14-pt lead and still finding ways to win while not even playing well. Let's not make a habit of it please.

Too many close games against bad teams for my liking

Any win on the road is good but would like to see White take all the T's and vary the 4th Q offense allowing White/Jrue/Brown to be in far more actions. Get the ball to Brown in the paint off the catch, White off the roll or catching in the paint are both great options. I get Tatum is shooting 3's better but that ISO 3 is just letting the defense off the hook.

True.

That's something we didn't have last season.

I remember the Cs getting blown out by the Bucks last season.

The unrelenting high level play of Payton Pritchard is something to behold.

Nice game from Jrue Holiday, especially his D in the second half. White with a strong showing too.

Brown and Tatum were their high gravity selves despite inefficient fg%s. There's a lot of room for growth when they and Hauser up that shooting.

Queta made mistakes on both ends but chipped in with a good contribution. The fact that he can learn early in the season while allowing Horford to limit his minutes is going to pay off in many ways later on.

Game plan for the next one: Don't fall down 16-2 at the start. Game plan for life: Don't trade away Holiday to get Lillard.

Just glad JT is fine after that undercut, he is quite underrated in terms of durability.

Yeah that looked bad. JT's durability is probably his most attribute to me. He just stretches like Gumby, the total opposite of KP sadly.

Jack Simone

The Celtics gave up 69 points to the Bucks in the first half - the most they've given up in a half this season.

They held the Bucks to 38 points in the second half - the fewest they've allowed in a half this season

With a gun to the head and forced to pick up just one.It has to be the sixth man of the year painting pritchard..

But White Holiday and Tatum had some huge playz in the second half I am fine voting for TEAM.
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

This is a great win. I know the bucks are bad record wise, but they get up to play us in Milwaukee and we sucked ass twice against them in their building last year. Giannis had a big game and we still came away with a dub. Teams are gonna throw their best shot against the Celtics and have been testing them early in the season so it’s nice to see us at 9-2 despite missing KP and brown for a few games.

JT continues to make a strong mvp case early in the season. Good to see him score 30 even when shots weren’t falling by getting to the line. Felt like he had more than 6 assists but nice to see him continue to find open teammates.
