I've always said for my whole life that I would NEVER cheer for the Lakers. But now, I may have to change that for this season. Why? Because Lakers winning a chip would give the greatest reason possible to fire Nico. He needs to go, period. What a travesty this season has been.

I highly doubt the Lakers win it all from what Ive seen so far. Internal defense is not very good. Not overly impressive with their backcourt defense.

It was clear as day Kyrie is getting injured with tbis load, he should have sat hopeless games, but this is too complicated for Kidd and training staff...

I chose to watch The Substance with my wife tonight.

It feels like the plot of that movie is the reality of Mavs. After trading Luka, there's no going back and everything will be worse and worse... What a nightmare.

This is sad for all of us.

We don't deserve this.

You might not be impressed, but they have the best D in the Nba, not only backcourt D, in last 15 games. All that without AD. And in that time they are 9:0 against over 0.500 teams.

Kidd and Nico just played with fire with Kyrie, they put all the burden on a player that never was known for being very physically resilient. Nico at least should have demanded AR in Luka trade too.

The wages of sin is death, and what the Mavs organization did to their loyal franchise player and fan base is a corporal sin.
Pray for a rebirth once the disgusting genocidal owners and the pompous backstabbing GM are gone.

That's really the worst part, Mavs totally overachieved last season, got in the Finals, they improved young roster significantly in the offseason and then destroyed everything with a madness.

I'm convinced the Adelsons built their casinos on ancient indian burial ground or something. Some major karma haunting them. I have a feeling Klay will snap his achiles in the next 14 days. Really bizarre **** LOL

If Kyrie has torn his ACL then Mavs next season is over too, he will just use his player option to opt in and rehabilitate his knee, which is 1 year minimum.
Mavs with 0 cap space and very limited options to upgrade now nonexistent Pg spot. Someone might even take Exum from them, who will probably have pretty good ending of the season.

This team is cooked...this is what I was affraid of...Kyrie always having to Play heavy minutes...it was an accident but that Kyrie injury looked horrible, Best wishes to KAI for a full recovery...something isn't right in this organization ever since Casey Smith left...the players are being rushed from injuries(PJ Said he came back too soon) which only increases the risk of making it worse...the coaching team doesn't slowly integrate Players when coming back, they instantly Play heavy minutes (AD situation)... it's just really terrible management by everybody in the Mavs organization....Players want to Play, help their teammates, but sometimes you need to stop them from hurting themselves, especially when they're coming back and they aren't fully healthy yet

Return to Dallas Mavericks
