One of the top 10 best rim protector last year, with ok mobility, good tooch around the rim and some passing .

I wouldnt be shocked to see him in the starting five in at least 10 teams (phx, cha, was, bos, chi, ind, lal, nop, orl, por....)

Teams dont consider him starting caliber. charlotte/indy/LAL/Washington all passed on giving him such a deal despite big hole at C

Kornet signed with the Spurs less than 90 minutes after the start of the free agency period. We don't know what other offers he received.

And he definitly would be the best center in this 4 teams.

Kornet is a legit 7'1 guy with good hands who can make quick decisions with the ball, sets good screens, knows how to roll and seal, play the handoff game, and plus he's reliable from the line. He's gonna be worth every bit of that $10 mil per annum salary. If the Celtics already had him on that deal, they would've gotten much better value back than a Chris Boucher.

Definitely is very debatable. Despite all his flaws, Ayton is still better. Washington's happier playing Sarr with Bagley backing him up. Can't speak for Charlotte, but they're probably happier letting Grant Williams soak up some minutes while Kalk develops.

As for Indy, I think Indy will be happier, and better, with Isaiah Jackson and his 3/$21m? Probably a similar salary to what Kornet should've gotten? Indy's able to play Jackson and Jay Huff for less salary combined than Kornet will make each of the next 2?

I have less hope than you for Isaiah, never made me think he could handle a higher role, and coming off a big injury, makes me worried about the position for Indy. Huff can score, but can’t rebound, not sure about his defense overall, but only had one season playing in the nba basically

Boucher was garbage. The Celtics should have signed Mamu for that starting role. The Raps won this by a large margin.

How was he garbage? All the numbers point to a quality rotation guy.
