Quay can’t cover his own shadow.

While cooper has been underwhelming overall, he had tight coverage on McBride in the endzone, who was roasting the Defense all game.

The throwing should have been a little further, but Cooper with tight enough coverage made it almost uncatchable. I'll give him credit for saving a TD there.

I was hoping Hopper could've taken some snaps by now but he's only racking up ST penalties.

Does anyone believe it might be possible that Pittsburgh will attempt to isolate Nate Hobbs in coverage with DK Metcalf?

Would Aaron Rodgers try to exploit such an obvious talent mismatch?

Are the Steelers colors Black & Gold?

As much crap as our outside CBs get, under Hafley most of the damage done against us has been over the middle of the field with Slot WRs & TEs, which is an area of the field Rodgers doesn't throw to very often. So it's possible this is a good matchup for our coverage unit. That said Rodgers has one of the quickest snap to throw times in the NFL so I dont think our pass rush will be able to get home a ton

Or Darnell Washington against any of our linebackers which includes Cooper has been trash for a few weeks unfortunately.

Imagine if we drafted Tucker Kraft/Darnell Washington in the same draft like I requested. Then again I wanted DK in the draft where we had three high picks (although those picks were pretty good too).

I am a sucker for the Megatron, DK, Terrell Owens, Mike Evans, Jermichael Finley built types of players.

As long as Hobbs is playing Nickel they should be ok, that's what he's good at. When he has safety help he can be super aggressive and be more effective, that's his game. On the outside he just doesn't have the athletic ability to hang with the best WRs.

Darnell has shown nothing as a receiver. He's slow and lumbering and nowhere as athletic as Finley, for example.

If I wanted an offensive lineman masquerading as a TE, I'd rather just draft an OL.

I think Darnell would be perfect next to Kraft. He plays similar to Bubba Franks but a better blocker. I meant physically built....Finley was definitely a better receiver.

I think the better comparison is Marcedes Lewis. But anyway, I don't see him as a tight end that's difficult for our linebackers to cover. He's not a great route runner or great receiver. He's strong and tall, which means he can post up on a short route.

But Freiermuth is the one I'm worried about because he has the profile that would destroy us if Rodgers actually throws him the ball. Williams, Bullard, and McKinney are going to have to pick up some of the slack there.

Washington is an excellent blocking TE but it is correct that he is not much of a receiver with just 9 catches for 84 yards and a TD on the year.

Luke Musgrave can't block his 87 year old grandmother. He also has 5 catches for 49 yards this season, with no TDs. Washington has more career catches and TDs than does Musgrave.

Washington at pick 93 of the 2023 draft is a serviceable player. Musgrave at pick 42 is a B U S T.

A-A-Ron gets a lot of deserved flack, but hearing a lot of these stories, seems like an exceptional mentor to J Love. Perhaps, he took the opposite approach taken by Favre to him.

Yup that's exactly it. Favre treated him like **** and Rodgers treated Love well.

You can say a lot of things about Rodgers, but there's no doubt he was a great mentor for Love

With a win against GB, Rodgers would become the fifth player ever to beat every team in the NFL.

Rodgers when asked about that rattled off "yeah joining Brady, Manning, Favre, and Brees." That response tells me he's been thinking about this for a while. Rodgers usually plays well with a chip on his shoulder.

Let's stop him from joining that club.

Rodgers is doing press conference with Wisconsin media on Thursday. Should be interesting.

I honestly hope he has a great season and lots of success, just not against the Packers.

I have been liking some rodgers highlights and the instagram algorithm is starting to think im a steelers fan. Lol. No just a Rodgers fan.

My hat is off to Rogers. My pre-season thought was that he'd get off to a great start, but acccumulated nicks, bumps, and bruises would have a late season impact on his 40+ year old body. He seems to have found a combination of the fountain of youth and figuring out how to minimize those nicks, bumps, and bruises.

Against the Packers, i hope he has a mediocre performance. After that, fling on, old guy!
