Audi sounds like "OUTie", so it's a way of saying your outta here.

Definitely isn't new I've heard it since mid 00's

I don't really see Lebron being the type to take a lot less money or come off the bench. So I'm wondering, who's going to pay him top money to start next year? I think that's his real beef with the Lakers - he wanted a 2 year extension at $50-60m+/year to go out on his own terms and on big money. He's either retiring next year, or taking a lot less money to be on a good team, or possibly top salary on a garbage team with cap space - doesn't seem he'd want to go out that way.

Lebron is getting paid $50m per season by being a business. Life is easy for him right now when it comes to making money.

The Lakers can only go so long with Lebron on the payroll making $50m if they want to win a title. Teams will want to pay $50m per season for Lebron, but the Lakers will tell him when they're ready to move on, and Lebron will need to make a decison.

It's ok bro. Kobe gave him the blessing to play on the Lakers. There's no need to defend Kobe's honor.

The best Laker ever ( along with Magic ) does not need me to defend his honor

The Mamba has little to do with my wish to see the fake king away from my favorite team. I personally want players that want to win ; that don't prioritize their stats and ego over winning.

Also, even if I remember that Kobe gave his blessing to Lebron , I'm pretty sure that he would want him gone too, after his 7 years here... barely saved by a Mickey Mouse ring. There is nothing else to remember...

One last thing : I would gladly accept a Lebron who would play for the team, supporting Luka and A.R.; a new Lebron who completely stop caring about his numbers and plays defense and give the team the physicality needed to compete vs Thunder, Nuggets, Rockets , and whoever get out of the East. I know, it's wishful thinking on my part...

Why does everyone think he wants to play another season? I feel like the knows he is closer by the month to being washed in terms of NBA stardom. He isn't going to suck when he comes back I think but I don't think he wants to go out having a season average under 20ppg. I think with the step Reeves has taken he wouldnt be able to do that next season for sure.

I personally think this season is his last, especially if he suffers more hamstring strains. I don’t think he is vain enough to dedicated an entire season for a farewell tour, I reckon he will announce he will be retiring right before or around the all star weekend.

Also His Highness is an embarrassing reference to Michael Jordan and his long held monkier of His Airness imo.

Lebron isn't as self-aborbed as many think he is, i am pretty sure he knows he is close to the end

It's not that deep. His nickname is "King James". Kings are referred to as "His Highness".

Possibly, although A Lebron have that nickname himself which is kind of lame and B His Highness is very lame to call an Hooper. His Airness so much better.

The interesting thing I find about most of the Lebron hate, or dislike is it's based on complete misconceptions.

King James was used by a Local Paper - he did not name himself this.

Chosen One was coined by Sports Illustrated - He did not name himself this.

Some often backtrack and say "well he refers to himself as the King, or didn't 'deny' people using this nicknames so he must believe it.

If those were nicknames given to me I'd be stoked, probably a little embarrassed but if I was GOAT level (for his age) and continued to remain that way for years to come I sure as hell wouldn't mind it and if everyone is calling you x, why is it all of a sudden a problem if you also refer yourself in the same way? There is this weird obsession with nit picking Lebron. Gives me a good laugh but it's also a little sad to see how some people can be invested in hating a sports player.

You better make a poll so this can be settled once and for all. Pending the outcome, you might be able to sleep better.
