Question...why is Boone on Josh Smith while SWAT is on Horford? Doesn't make sense to me. I would play them the other way--SWAT on Josh Smith and Boone on Horford.

I love the way VC is playing today...and the fact that the Nets keep going to him. VC being aggressive makes everyone's game so much easier. Just like that flush by Boone...nice.

if his fat ass works on his conditioning, id draft him.... but we need shooters more than another young big man .... anyway, just imagine what devin harris can do when he has 2 healthy ankles.. i mean DAMN he probly hasnt been pain free since hes been a net and hes still flying by anybody and everybody

major props to Swift so far in his brief playing time. Playing very unselfish on both ends of the court.

and Devin....unlikely to play pre-game & he comes out like this.

Arrghh...terrible sequence there. Boone needs to go more aggressively to the hoop. At the least, he should get a foul on that.

RJ had a very solid game. unforced. in the flow. I'm glad at least frank is moving away from that horrid RJ iso and getting him moving.

Vince was everywhere tonight. can't say enough about it. The hawks are not exactly defensive juggernauts but he still owned them. he also didnt seem bothered by a guy like Josh Smith either.

Question though: are the refs not respecting carter? vince was looking for the call all game, but never got any even when he drove into the paint. It was hard to discern the action exactly but it was crowded down there and I don't see how there was no contact EVER.

Excellent game by the Nets tonight. After a lousy game against the Bulls...they needed to play like they did today. They came out with energy and aggressiveness. It started with VC, RJ and Devin but you could see the entire team following the lead.

Devin showed me a lot today...playing even when he could have sat out w/ the ankle issues. Its something we often took for granted with Kidd but its great to see it from Devin too. One thing I've been really impressed with is his impact on this team and on the game as a whole. There were spurts especially in the 3rd and 4th quarters where he seemed to take over both ends of the floor. The great thing w/ Devin is that we now have 3 consistent guys that can put up 20 on a given night. It raises a lot of matchup problems for the defense.
