What? lol

All Players that are inactive for todays game, were taking calls at 777-hoops. It was pretty funny to watch.

He's looking like someone who SERIOUSLY needs to develop a jump shot.

Alexander Johnson plays with so much passion. I love the guy. His skill level is not great but what he does not have in physical ability he makes it up with his love of the game. The guy is down 23 points and he is getting pissed out there. Every Foul he does it seems like a Flagrant foul.

With the suit guys (Banks, Wade, Haslem, Marion, 'Zo) in the back answering phone calls the Heat went on a 20-4 run or something like that ... when they came back and sat on the bench, the Hornets go on a 19-1 run. ;o

Are you kidding me? He's a 7 foot big man, they're supposed to operate in the paint .. not be a pussy like Earl Barron and Mark Blount. Sorry to explode on you I just hate when people try to force a jump shot on a defensive big man.

Salqaddoumi, i hate to tell you this but he is not 7 foot. The guy is 6"9 and at that size he needs to add alittle more to his game. Maybe not a jump shot but a nice hook shot /

Well obviously, i'm not saying that he should stop developing. I'd love for him to develop more of an offensive game like a hook shot and to work on his footwork but not a jump shot.

I love Alexander Johnson!!! The guy just plays. AJ raises the level of energy everytime he gets in the game.

Went to the game. They had a makeshift stand selling replica Shaq & Walker jerseys at 2 for $20!!!!

Couldn't bring myself to buy.

I think the guy sucks big time. He tries to make up for his lack of skill and effort by smaking players.

And trust me I don't mind dirty players, but they have to have some type of skill, Johnson doesn't fit that bill.

More like 6'9 forward, in which case he'll need some sort of shot. He doesn't even score in the paint anyway as he seems way too content with grabbing the rebound or passing it up. Great defensive effort, but his offense just doesn't seem to be improving at all.

Wtf? He's been getting minutes for like 10 games now, how fast do you expect his offense to improve? Riley did say he was the rawest player he had ever coached.

although Beasley is much more accomplished than Marvin was, even though they both came out as freshmen

You have to remember as well that Marvin Williams was on a team that was 8 players deep. One of the deepest team to ever play in college with Raymond Felton, Sean May, Raushawn Terry, Rashad McCants, David Noel, Jawad Williams...... All of them play or have played in the NBA...

Beasley has NOBODY with NBA talent on his team, which makes it a bit scary because his numbers could be inflated for a 1st pick or maybe he is just THAT good that could take a group of scrubs and compete deep into the NCAA tournament.

You really don't want to be the one tha passed on Beasley if he turns out to be a stud but you don't want to draft the "next bust" either. Tough spot to be in which is why I am all for Riles to scout and keep scouting.
