and im not sure i understand why you take foster over murphy. I dont understand what you mean when you say is more of a duplicate talent set. We don't really need what Murphy offers. Murphy has been rebounding great lately and scoring too. Fosters numbers have been more weak than murphy's
I agree with him on Murphy. He is a good scorer -- but some nights he does absolutely nothing. He and Dunleavy seem to take turns scoring on that team along with Granger because, really, who else is going to score? And he makes a lot of boneheaded mistakes and always is getting some freak injury. There are things about Foster that I like a lot. You're right....he doesn't score much. But he's a clever player on defense and is a pest under the boards. It depends on if you think the Magic need a starter or a role player. I don't know if Foster is enough of a scoring threat to be a starter, especially if you don't already have a shooting guard that regularly scores as much as other teams' shooting guards. You don't want the starters to be playing 3-on-5 offensively. And if you're still going to have Battie on the roster, then are you telling Foyle to go away? How many role-playing power forwards can you have if you don't a legitimate power starter at the spot?
