I like Minnesota as well, just because Anaheim plays to the level of their competition, and I can see them underestimating the Wild in a 7 game series.

I have the exact same thing except I have Ottawa winning. I think too many people are on the Penguins bandwagon and I think they will bow out in the 1st round.

Am i the only one who thinks the NYI have a shot? I know Buffalo is really good, but if DiPietro gets hot i think we could be looking at a big upset.

It's not so much faith in the Penguins more than no faith in the Senators. Plus I think it would be REALLY funny if Ottawa loses in the 1st round while Roberts has a great playoff series ;)

Rangers/Thrashers outta be a good matchup but I think the Rangers really could win. Both teams mirror each other well, good offense(ATL has better..) meh D(Rags have a bit better) and good enough goaltending(Like Henrik more though)

Rags in 6 IMO.

Is DiPietro even going to play in the playoffs?

East first round

#1 Buffalo vs. #8 NY Islanders (Buffalo in 5 way too much firepower and depth for the Sabers for the Isles to match and no DiPetro = no chance agenst the Sabers)

#2 New Jersey vs. #7 Tampa Bay (Tampa Bay in 6 Richards, St. Louis and Vinny L are going to have monster )

#3 Atlanta vs. #6 NY Rangers (Atlanta in 7 I don't see the Rangers being able to stop a Savard. Illya and Keith Tkachuk line)

#4 Ottawa vs. #5 Pittsburgh (Ottawa in 6 way too much playoff expirence for the Sens here and the Sens are just too deep of a team to loose in the first round sorry Tim but your team is going down)

West first round

#1 Detroit vs. #8 Calgary (Detroit in 6, I feel this is our year yet again. With the new players ie Bertuzzi and Calder we should be one of the deepest and most dangerious teams out there. Calgray is great when hot but I don't see them pulling a upset yet again)

#2 Anaheim vs. #7 Minnesota (Anaheim in 4, Pronger and Neidmieyer (sp) will make any goalie look better then they are plus you have Salane and Andy McDonald up front as well the Ducks look like a legit team)

#3 Vancouver vs. #6 Dallas (Vancouver in 5, this is the series that we finally see what Loungo can do and Naslund shows up to play. I expect a good series but I don't see the Stars beating the 'Nucks in this one)

#4 Nashville vs. #5 San Jose (San Jose in 7, this will come down to the wire and be the best series outta the West. Both teams have great goaltending but the Sharkies have one of the best playmakers in the NHL today in Joe Thornton who will make a huge difference. Forsberg will be a factor but I just don't see the Preds being able to stop the Sharks)

I'm with you on this one. The Islanders have been a really streaky team this year and they got hot at the right time near the end of the season. If they can carry that momentum and confidence into the post-season I think they have a good shot. I don't expect them to win but I do think they will surprise some people and make it a tough hard-fought series against Buffalo.

Alright so after the first game of the playoffs Ottawa owns Pittsburgh 6-3

Mark my words this won't happen again, the Pens are going to learn from this and really come out strong in game 2.

On a side note, Crosby's non-goal should have been a goal in my opinion because the rule is you can't have a kicking motion if it goes off your foot. The puck went off just between the ankle and his knee, therefore that should have counted.

btw i updated the 1st page

I wouldn't say owned. I'd say the Sens bent them over backwards and just stuck it to them. The Pens were flat, nervous and couldn't do a thing right. I feel bad for Fluery. Everyone here in Pittsburgh thinks Thibault should start now.

I too agree with you on that goal MAS. I think it was a goal but oh well, gotta move on and play better next game. If the Pens come out flat next game, I will be very disappointed.

yeah i said owned cause i was too lazy to come up with a better word, but i think Fleury should start next game.

I also think the Pens should fly back to Pitt until friday so they aren't hit by the media that is Canada

I'm assuming you're from the US from your sig.

sports.yahoo.com/nhl - they have games you can watch there

http://www.comcast.net/sports/nhl/hockeylive/ - games there

I watched a Pens game there and I had to change my proxy configurations to do that so you may have to too. If you need to, you should be able to search it on yahoo or PM and I will tell you another way.

http://www.sopcast.org/ you just have to download the player
http://myp2p.eu/NHL.htm there is the NHL page of games

I put these on page 2. Didn't you get them?

There's 3 ways to watch the playoffs.
