Can you guys also please show the maths to this deal? It must meet the salary cap and NBA trade conditions. Each trade must be accompanied by this.

Such concerns as Iguodala's BYC must be accounted for.

2010 first (no protection)

Richard Hamilton
Rasheed Wallace (13 mill expiring)
TOR Second rounder 09
DET second rounder 10

Donyell Marshall
Kareem Rush
Jason Smith
Royal Ivey

Are then waived, they are expirings.

Reasoning: DET after much consideration has decided to rebuild. Our core simply isn't working anymore, and we are looking to build a younger team that can compete and grow together. We are looking to build around our young backcourt of Stucky/Iggy and Young at the SF spot. Dally fills a need for a center, Speights at the PF spot, and the 2009 and 2010 picks will help in the rebuilding process. Combined with our exprings and cap room next year and we feel we are in a good position to build from here and get younger. By 2010 we will have a good young team, and cap room to snag a good free agent and compete.

As stated by others, this trade does not meet the roster requirements; after the trade Detroit has over 15 players which is not allowed; and Philly has under the requirements as well (you can go down to 11 to complete a trade but Philly goes below that as well)
Thus the trade is void.

Cleveland and Minnesota have agreed on a trade

Minnesota sends
Carney (1.66)
C.Smith (2.5, 2.3)
B.Cardinal (6.3 6.75)
2 second round picks (both from Miami)

Cleveland sends
E.Snow (7.313)
A.Law (2.072, 2.22, 2.94, 4.03)

Minnesota agrees and loves to add a young PG and the added cap space. We will never be able to use all of outr picks, so trading away 2 second rounds for cap space is great for us

Just keep in mind that you won't be able to use it in the future when the rosters arer muddled up.

We've always posted the maths to make it easier and more clear.

One more thing guys, before you start shopping your new players, there is a 12 hour waiting time for the league facilitator to review deals and approve them. It's there to allow time for vetoes of trades to ensure that trades like TMac for Duncan doesn't happen and ruin the game.

Pfrior to accepting the deal, Cleveland waives Othello Hunter. Cleveland accepts the deal. We acquired 3 valuable bench players and 2 seconds for virtually nothing.

With that, Cleveland also would like to announce a deal with New York.

Wally Szczerbiak $13,775,000
Daniel Gibson $3,700,000
2010 2nd

for

Eddy Curry $9,723,983
Chris Duhon $5,585,000

While it appears like Cleveland got the raw end of the deal, I am very high on Duhon. Immediately, he brings credibility as a backup and can start if Bibby chooses to bolt. While Curry is overpaid, I still think I can get something out of him.

Neither Washington or Plaisted are signed to a contract. you can trade their rights but they don't count to fill the rooster :-?

Why? T-Mac for Duncan is totally fair.

New Jersey and Houston have a trade.

NJ out, Houston in:
Yi Jianlian $2,986,080
Maurice Ager $1,042,440
Total $4,028,528

Houston out, NJ in:
Luis Scola $3,142,800
Von Wafer $797,581
Total $3,940,381

Numbers obviously work. NJ accepts. Scola is by far the best player now, and to get him we're willing to take the risk of Yi becoming something special in the future.

speaking of T-Mac...

http://www.realgm.com/src_checktrade.ph ... id=5051392

Orlando and Houton have come to an agreement.

Shard/Pietrus/09 2nd for T-Mac/White

Orlando loses out from a health/production standpoint but we want to explore the 2010 Free Agent crop and this gets us there by shedding a ton of 2010 salary.

Orlando accepts.

The NO Hornets and OKC Thunder have a trade to announce:

Peja Stojakovic 12.53m
Tyson Chandler 11.35m
Sean Marks .8m
Ryan Bowen .8m

25.48m

for

Malik Rose - 7.65m
Desmond Mason - 5.30m
Nenad Kristic - 4.78m
Thabo Sefolosha - 1.93m
Roko Ukic - 1.25m

20.91m

25.48m +.1m = 25.58m
20.91m + .1m = 21.01m

25.58m/21.01m = 121%

The trade is within 125% and works under the CBA.

The Thunder accept. We add a lot of salary, but Chandler is the perfect Center to go next to Bosh and Stojakovic will be great at spreading the floor for Durant, Westbrook, and Bosh. I think this trade is perfect for team chemistry and will put us on a new level.

The Hornets lose out on Chandler and Peja's production, but shedding our two largest '08/09 contracts pleases George Shinn and allows us to stay way under the luxury cap while positioning ourselves to have cap space for the 2010 free agent crop.

Malik Rose and Desmond Mason are both expiring contracts while both Thabo Sefolosha and Roko Ukic are young players on very reasonable contracts. Kristic is still young at 25 and on a very fair contract.

Now that our first goal has been accomplished, Posey, Daniels, and Peterson are officially on the block.

Houston rescinds offer Chandler-style because their stupid GM finally found out how judging happens. Houston apologizes NJ, but knows it can get less risky prospects than Yi. Negotiations still happening, Scola still on the block for Houston if somebody wants to get in on the sweepstakes.

New York accetps, while we were reluctant to let Chris Duhon go in a trade, we can start Nate at the pg and let him run the show. Dealing Curry was a top priority this offseason as, while he is a 20 and 7 player on any given night his welcome was worn out with all the negative media attention. We wish both of them well and hope they have great careers.
