I was watching videos of Derrek Lee on the Cubs website from 2005 and he's starting to look like that at the plate again. Good to see.

Oh and Randy Wells has to be the early ROY favorite. If he keeps this up in the 2nd half, he should win it. He has some tough competition though. Colby Rasmus in St. Louis and Tommy Hanson in Atlanta.

wells could easily have 8 wins right now. didn't see the game but on paper it looked good. gregg with a save. derrek with another HR. aramis back in the lineup.

it's amazing for as poorly as we played all year, we're within striking distance. the rest of this series and the cardinals series are HUGE.
