Woj (Yahoo) posted this a few days ago

G-State restricted free agent Anthony Morrow has slew of interest, including Spurs, Celtics, Lakers, Blazers, Clips and Jazz, sources say.

There is a lot of interest so full MLE would probably be needed to get him.

I read that GSW is unliekly to match a deal over 4 M per year.

Despite his desire for defense, I have a gut feeling BC will be overwhelmed by the possibility of adding a great shooter like Redick or Korver, so I'm predicting JJ or KK.

Brewer can get 30-35 mil in this FA market EASY. I doubt he signs on the cheap, Utah made him look dispensable when he really is worth more.

The precedent has been set for bigs and not so much wing players as of yet.

So we really don't know what the market is for dudes like Brewer and Morrow.

Realistically, it's probably Gomes. Hopefully, it's Outlaw.

Guys like Childress, Morrow, Brewer and Barnes likely have better options.

Morrow is a $10 mil guy IMHO, but Brewer can get paid in this market.

If that is the case, then why the rush? IMO if you are striking early you don't strike at the crap no one wants. Especially this year where all the guys with money are held up with high dreams you can come in and swoop one of these guys under the radar.

As with many in this thread, I too would love to have either/both Brewer and Morrow on this team. Morrow's not as good a defender, but his shooting ability is lights out. Brewer, I like because he's a really good defender who can do a bit of everything.
Good Lord, the little stoner's got a point.

$10MIL per season for Morrow? Huh? Aren't you going around saying Amir was overpaid and is the next Jerome James?

Sorry, I was really wondering what was wrong with you. I still disagree, Morrow will make more than 2MIL per.

Edit: Just saw your edit. Making more sense.

I can't see barns signing with us at all - he's looking to be a contender. I really hope it is in fact Brewer though, we need defense on this team.

Morrow(what a sick last name), Brewer, Childress, Reddick, Gomes, Barnes. All good names. I like where this is going.

Deep inside Im hoping its Childress. If we get him for the MLE its a steal. The guy made good cash in Europe and he has become a far better and more explosive player compared to his early days in the NBA.
