Mavs and Wolves would be extremely lucky if Zeller and Henson falls to them in the real draft. But with guys like Waiters and Terrence Jones climbing up, someone has to slip.

If any of the unclaimed teams want to sell a late first to Dallas, I would take it.

With the 24th pick in the 2012 NBA Draft the Cleveland Cavaliers select...

Quincy Miller 6'10" SF Baylor

Strengths: An incredibly skilled prospect, Miller has ideal size and a ridiculously lengthy (7'3) wingspan for a scoring small forward ... Displays precise footwork, making every step a purposeful one ... Despite previous ACL surgery, Miller is a mobile athlete that can slip and slide off his defender ... With the ball in his hands, Miller is a crafty shot-creator on the perimeter, doing most of his offensive damage in the midrange ... Uses impressive handle on the ball to create shots off the dribble on the perimeter, showing a high awareness of his defender's positioning and an understanding of how to take advantage of that ... Possesses balance after using effective pivots to get his shot off ... Effectively uses off-ball screens to get open ... As a finisher and scorer down low, Miller's scoring instincts allow him to convert in a number of different ways despite lacking the strength and explosiveness to get easier buckets ... Mentally tough , competitor ...

The Cavs take a bit of a gamble that Miller is healthy, but the only reason he is still available this late is because of his injury. Kyrie should be able to find Quincy coming off of screens and leaking out on the fastbreak for lots of open looks.

Irving/Sloan/Gibson
Gee/Harris
Casspi/Miller
Thompson/Samuels
Drummond/Varejao/Erden

The Memphis Grizzlies and jman3134 are now on the clock...

Quincy Miller. dude hasn't been the same since his ACL injury. Reports say he looked slow in the combine and didn't shoot well as expected.

Those previous Charlotte picks were the ones Bobcats' GM traded for, right?

Evan Fournier and Fab Melo. Wow. I'd go mad if they don't end up with the first pick next year.

It was a terrible deal. Still, Fab Melo is a good defensive center imo right away. Offense still needs a lot of work. Fournier is supposedly really opening up eyes in the Adidas camp. I don't think he escapes #16 in the real draft.

Kemba/Fournier/Kidd-Gilchrist/Thomas/Melo isn't going to win a lot of games probably. But its a good young core to develop with.

Kemba/Fournier/Henderson/T-Rob/Biyombo would have been better tho (assuming Charlotte could have somehow acquired another first rounder to land Fournier)

^^ Fournier so far is a big disappointment at the Eurocamp, scouts say he's not even worthy of a first round consideration. He just made Satoransky and Franch improve their stocks.
