could someone who has league pass give me their opinion on it? i want to be able to watch every single wolves game w/o worrying about the video skipping. it's got to be pretty good service to justify the price.

I did League Pass Broadband one full season then tried it again during their free trial period last season. The video quality is good, never had any skipping issues but the blackout rules apply so I was never able to watch every single game, in fact there were quite a few that I couldn't watch. Don't know if that would apply to you or not but if it does, it definitely isn't worth the price.

As an international I personally can say it's worth the price because you can watch games up till 48 hours after they were played. But for US folks I would be much more cautious as I'd hate to not be able to watch all games due to the blackout rules.

But the service itself was okay. Their technical support was top notch - not that I had to use it often but that one time I had to the issue was resolved within a few minutes.

before you buy the service, do you know which games will be blacked out?
how many games were blacked out last year?
i would be content just watching wolves games + playoffs. how much would that cost me?

The blackout rules are determined by whether the channels (FSN, My29) are available where you live. If they are, all games on those channels are blacked out. Also, all national TV games are blacked out as well if not carried locally (TNT, ESPN, ABC)

For example, last year, 75 games were televised on FSN and My29, plus another 3 on national TV. So if you're local, you'd be able to watch a total of 4 games.

It's really pretty stupid.

i think it's like $150 for league pass. i might be able to watch 30-40 games. i'd reluctantly accept that, but these mixed reviews i'm reading kill it for me. guess it's back to eating burned pie.

Glad I'm a Wolves fan in the Twin Cities with FSN that can watch most every single game.

I've been out of the Twin Cities market for the last decade and I've purchased League Pass for the last four seasons and I'll be purchasing it again next year. It's great for fans that live in different cities, but I don't know why anyone local would buy it simply to watch the Wolves.
