There are 2 eddy curry's that hope fall to me but i doubt they will...

this is where it gets interesting can people find that player that may not be the best player but fits their team and what they are looking for..

Yes he would......................for the right price

On my team, I really like how he fits next to Calderon when Kobe is out or can backup multiple positions. He did a great job in that role with the Nets. I’ve been rooting for a Livingston comeback for awhile and am glad to see him finally finding a niche.
Always was a Livingston fan but this year he became one of my favorite players in the NBA. He's a joy to watch.

I was wondering about Mayo. I would've probably taken him at 198 just because of the value. He had a bad year, but it was Milwaukee and he is still a talented guy who can put the ball in the basket. Getting him at 184 is a very good pick. And with the way Wade has looked at times in the playoffs, Mayo could be a very important piece for lj's bench. That frontcourt still has a big hole in it though.

Yeah, I don't think this year was indicative of what Mayo would provide in a better environment. He's certainly good enough to split time with Wade and take some of the strain off.

I had OJ as the overall most highest rated player on my board at this point.

I had him near the top of my board also. Considering lj doesn't pick again until the 240's and as of now he has only Tyson Chandler in his frontcourt, I'm a little surprised he went in that direction though. I think it's a good value, but wondering if there is a trade coming?

Buyer's remorse Blue?

Not at all, just find value in some other positions and have too many rotation bigs right now. I'd prefer on big and the other more of a SF/PF mold. Ersan is just a PF.

LOL, 2010 made me a good offer for Mayo and I considered it, but I am going to hold onto Mayo at this point. As mentioned, Mayo is great value. My first thought was to add as much value with this pick so if I can't find steals with my later pick then I explore a trade for depth later on (using either Mayo or Wade as a chip). My second though is that Mayo is insurance for Wade and a great 6th man. I am taking a gamble that I will be able to fill out my front court, but if I am unable to do so via draft then I now have the flexibility to do so via trade.

No thanks, I like those two but I think Horford is worth more than that.

Ehhh I've seen this situation a billion times. Good player on garbage team mails it in, goes to a good team and is magically good again. Not that concerned. Plus, his per 36 #s weren't really that far off from his career.

. I never cared for picking for "value" that much in this thing. What does that even mean? This isnt a real draft. Pick the guys you want on your team. Less is more many times in basketball and fit/personality matter a lot, as us Knick fans have seen all too well. Especially in the Isiah era where he just threw a bunch of individual "value" together.

OJ was straight awful this year. Completely awful. On and off the court he was a fat lazy bum. He wasnt even that good when he was "good". LJ you have no front court, dont pick for another what 2 rounds, and you sacrifice that for..... OJ Mayo? I wouldnt even take him in the last round real talk.

I had the same rant last year about a certain similar "talented" player.

Mayo gained a ton of weight and is on a huge contract. And he was really only good the first half in Dallas.
