The guy is starting in this league. He should take pride in stopping his man. Kenny shouldn't have to mask his defense.

He is what he is at this point of his career. He is atrocious at defense. Kenny can choose to not play him.

I think it might be to let him pad the stats and trade him

Can't win without their offense either. So who's fault is it really? The coach or the two idiots who haven't realized it's THEM holding us back?

First people got mad he started too many non shooters. Now he's got our two best shooters on the floor to help our scoring and that hasn't worked.

Oh well, I guess that's what development is about. Giving the sub-par guys playtime as practise.

Normally that would be okay, but they weren't getting it on the whole game, unfortunately

KA promised changes after last game and yet literally everything was the same today? Saw nothing different at all.

It's funny how now that RHJ is playing PF - he doesn't guard perimeter players any more.

A bunch of trash, questionable young players and 20mpg role players asked to start and lead the charge. I hate watching this team.

Well, a team without the guy who's arguably the most important player and the leader. Lets hope it's gonna get better soon

I'm not about to play the kill the coach game here. This team sucks. if he had better players and his coaching cost us games, like it was back in 2012, then sure. fire the coach. but this? we should be grateful the team kept this game competitive for 3 and a half qtrs because they're outmatched every single night. The Jazz are like one of the best teams in the league. studs at several positions. This game, like pretty much every other game, comes down to the talent deficit.

I don't hate watching this team. At least they compete hard, unlike what we saw when Deron Williams and Joe Johnson were **** ing sleep walking through seasons. There will be better days.

It seems like we were playing more defensive minded until the fourth quarter.

Main reason for the loss: keep going to our best offensive player in crunch time even tho he's being dominated by Gobert

Exactly. KA isn't the best coach in the league but the roster has major flaws. There's not much he can do.

RHJ's offense is bad and his defense isn't as impactful as it was last year. RHJ and Bogs are horrible defenders but they can at least make 3s to try to help us get back in the game.

If we were up by a few points and we want to maintain the lead, then yes put in RHJ. But when you're trying to play catch up, put in your offensive players and pray that the other team misses.

At least we showed some progress with the 2nd lineup. We need to fix our starting lineup, however.

Agree with this...The Nets are in a catch 22...They simply do not have enough players that are balanced enough on both side of the ball..RHJ is a better defender than Bojan/Kil, Harris, but in games where you are playing for behind, you can't play him because he can't shoot.

Too bad Nets couldn't get either Crabby and Johnson..both of these guys are balanced players..May not be good defender but much better than Bogs and Kilpatrick.

And so how you are going to try to get back in the game then? Pray RHJ turns into a Steph Curry?

You want better defense? then Whitehead, LeVert, RHJ, and Harris should take up all the minutes.

oh that's right, half of you on here were bitching every goddamn night because the coach was playing the young guys at the expense of the older players that can score.

so here, the coach is playing Bojan and Kilpatrick in order to get some offense and its been to the team's detriment. The hypocrisy on here is astounding.

exactly.

Atkinson is damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. There is NO perfect combination of players on this team. Either we play the guys that compete on defense and we give up shooting, or we play shooters and get torched. There is NO WINNING HERE.

Maybe, just maybe, SOME folks on here had expectations that were way too high for this roster.

And had Kenny did that and we still didn't score then the narrative would be him not using two good offensive options for Rondae is what made us lose.

You come off a players only meeting to get embarrassed at home screams a roster issue. Not a coaching issue.

The Jazz suckered us into a half court game and we lost. That simple. The problem would've been avoided had our guards did more out there.

If I know Brook Lopez has his hands full with Gobert then I would personally come out aggressive as hell and looking to go at Heyward who isn't any more athletic than Bogdanovic or Kilpatrick but since both of those guys are more content with being in the league than being a great player then nights like tonight will happen until we move on from these guys.

Skil/Bogs - 16 Points, 2 Assists, 7 rebounds, -6.

Hood/Hayward - 45 Points, 4 Assists, 7 Rebounds, + 6.

Embarrassing.
