And i just named 4 hall of famers on that Boston team. Many people think Ainge should be in too. Bird, Parrish, McHale and DJ. You named Kobe and Pau, plus Odom and Bynum. I'm sorry but the Celtics were way better. Played much better competition too and nobody sat out because they were tired or they weren't paid enough money.

if it truly ends up being a 4 team trade because the knicks didn't want anderson or leonard...then yes it gets complicated.

So the rockets have what they want the blazers have what they want, now they need to find a team semi interested in Leonard to take him for a small asset. And send a shorter contract back to the knicks.

my point is Myers Leonard is not going to stop the rockets from getting Melo. At least IMO Morey couldn't make that kind of a blunder.

Definitely agree, there's no way the Knicks buy out Melo but I dunno if he opts out.

Melo loves money maybe more than winning.

None of the teams on his list are rushing out to move their garbage in order to accommodate him.

I just did a little research on Moe Harkless and I'm down with him coming back in a Melo deal. He'd be a nice SF on this team. Play some D, hustle, hit some 3's. And he's young.

Harkless was an average defender and inconsistent offensive player. If the Knicks are going to be forced to take Meyers Leonard they should be getting instead either Al Farouq Aminu or Ed Davis. Shorter contracts, better defensive players.

All the stats suggest Harkless was a really good defender last year. I would take Harkless hands down as an asset ove the other two. He's younger and aligns with our core more.

Yeah, absolutely - you know all the major leagues work together to make sure things like this don't happen...MLB definitely doesn't want the spotlight taken away from their All-Star game and the NBA will happily oblige out of respect.

You're not getting the point. Dellavadova got overpaid and Lebron shouted him out. Tyler Johnson got overpaid and Dwayne Wade shouted him out. That's what you do in the NBA. You root for your fellow NBA brother to get the most money possible. Jeremy Lin didn't receive that backing from Carmelo Anthony, who holds a high position in the NBAPA.

Because he was jealous of Lin. There have been reports about it.

its sounds ridiculous buts sports first and foremost are an entertainment business. The MLB does not want anything taking away from there ratings tonight. And a Melo (4 team trade) would absolutely take viewers away.
