Well, Jennings had no problem strolling onto the Wizards and snatching up Burke's job.

So I bet he has Trey's respect

I’ll smack the **** out of Jennings with my shoe.

Better hope he ain't wearing a 8 Ball jacket.

yeah, why be mad about this ? who really cares. that supposed veteran leadership from jack wasn't gonna amount to much. i guess pepe le pointguard is gonna have to figure it out on his own. i'm sorry for that joke. that's beagle boss's fault. i'm easily influenced by knucklehead behavior.

He's not better then Sessions. He hasn't really done anything in the league since being drafted so this is a confusing move to me. There has recently been rumors of teams being interested in KOQ and LT so maybe Perry has a trade about to go down.

He's better than Sessions, younger than Sessions, allows us to move Sessions to a purely mentor role, and he played with THJr at Michigan (so maybe there's some chemistry there). This move isn't very confusing at all.

I agree with all besides him being better then Sessions. Burke has been bad since he's been in the league and he got his chances in Utah to show something but never took advantage of those chances. Sessions is and has been one of the best backup PG's in the league every year he's been in the league. As of now Sessions is the better player but hoping that can change if the Knicks are actually planning on keeping Burke. The kid obviously has talent which he showed in college which got him drafted in the lottery and i think top 10 but as we all know, some of these kids just can't translate their games from college to the pros.

Supposedly fellow Frenchman Boris Diaw had a bad odor to him. Frank seems well groomed. I bet he's a cologne guy.

I think Baker is simply a guard. He's definitely not a 1 and he doesn't have the size for the 2 (but has the wingspan and strength) --> I still see Delly, as in an a guard who needs to play next to playmakers.

I agree. I'm just wondering where he will get his minutes from if we keep one of Sessions or Jack.

Both guard slot rotations are full

Yeah, honestly, no idea. I think we end up trading Lee sooner rather than later and I think Dotson / THJr will see some time at the 3. Also, my gut feeling thinks that Beasley is gonna be released like Jennings was last year because he wants to play for a team that is going to be in the playoffs.

I'm with you and think they guy that needs to get traded is C.Lee. I actually like Lee and his game but with Dotson looking like he belongs and with this youth movement going on with us we need to trade Lee and get what we can for him and if he needs to be included with someone else then do it. There's talk that teams were asking about KOQ so i think a combo or him and Lee could get us a nice return. I will say about KOQ that i think he's gonna be missed if we trade him and he got better every year he was with us and has been looking good so far this preseason. I wouldn't mind re-signing KOQ and keeping him but with already having Billy, Noah, KP and now Kanter there's no need to keep KOQ to.

This was my initial thought as well. I sure hope this is true.

this would be a nice positive to start the year. Maybe they are doing a solid for Sessions if they don't see him in the rotation now that Frank and Baker are back healthy splitting the PG role...they are giving him a chance to sign with a team where he can play?

Let's hope this is the case. However i am hoping we have a trade brewing to get one or multiple vets out of town.

Does anyone know the date when newly signed players are able to be traded?

Not sure what it is now, but it used to be Dec 15th for new FAs & Jan 15th for any FA you signed using bird rights.

We wouldn't need to sign a plethora of Point Guards if we would of just Drafted Dennis Smith Jr.

The mentor thing is non sense anyway. If it was about that they’d hire someone on the staff and let him play the lead. They trying to field a team that might slip in. That’s why they signed a scorer too. They telling people what they want to hear and keeping expectations low. But make no mistake about it. If this team could 3 point bomb themselves into contention for a 8 seed they’re going for it.

Nah.
Jeff isn’t building that identity. He’s building nothing.

If we were about to do that then we should always attempt over 30 threes a game. We’re not.
