Don't really like that deal for either team. Clippers will be worse but probably not enough to land a top ten pick. Pistons are overpaying for a guy who cannot singlehandedly carry a team.

The moral of the story: Bucks better not hire Rivers or a Van Gundy.

It's why people getting mad about players choosing to go anywhere in free agency really annoys me. There's no loyalty anywhere.

You won’t be mad at Giannis if he leaves?

This essentially makes the Pistons the Clippers and vice versa. Like each team was looking at the other team's situation thirsty af. Why?

Weird trade. Tobias doesn't get to stay anywhere very long.

What a weird/bad trade. I'd like to think DJ and Lou are next but what is the point of acquiring bradley.

He’s rounded out to be a very nice player. Just seems like he will be one of those players that will be moved around a lot for whatever reason

I don't hate it for Detroit. Might as well try to get better and see if he works with Drummond. What's the alternative just completely blow it up?

Blake's son's name is Ford. So there's that.

Weird they'd trade Blake to the Pistons. [edit] Saw the deal and I don't understand it like everyone else. Seems it makes LA worse and they only got a first and second rounder out of it? I think Detroit got the better end of the stick. Blake is the best player in this deal by a long way but even still. Not sure he moves the needle that much for them.

Build around Austin Rivers time I guess.

Ah, the rare blockbuster trade that doesn't really make sense for either team. Weird.

Horrible trade for Detroit. Players alone were too much for Blake. Throw in the draft picks too?! Ha!

I don't doubt Jerry West but the trade does seem odd.

Maybe Lebron is signaling that he's going to wait for the 2019 offseason to bolt the Cavs...which also doesn't seem to make sense given the chaos in Cleveland.

But for some reason the Clippers decided to prioritize 2019 cap room vs other potential options for Blake.
