THABK YOU DANIEL AINGE FOR THIS PERONSALEE

I know you're probably kidding, being sarcastic or whatever.

But our team would look much different right now if Brown, Time Lord, Kemba, Smart were playing..

The team we're watching now is not the one that Ainge put together.

Actually it is, they are all signed to play professional basketball.

Good point LBF.
This is the time to see if these Guys can play.

Can we technically have a "fake comeback" if we are only down 3??

For sure but barely. Rubbed me wrong when he said “Celtics are playing for something bigger then seeding” earlier in the year. That **** works when you lebron on your team and kyrie said the same thing but that mentality when your 2 best players are 23 & 24 isn’t good.

Stevens is improving. Only 10 players in first half rotation. Poor Parker and Semi.. 8-)

And Celtics will be lucky to score 40 points in the first half.

Other way to look at it

Tatum
Fournier
Nesmith
Pritchard
Thompson

That's our 5 best tonight (in no order)

Sexton
Allen
Okoro
Love
Wade

That's their best 5.

Tatum is better than Sexton, but the gap isn't that big. Sexton is a freak, he's having a big year and is one of the best young players in the league.

Fournier vs Love? Fournier is probably better, but it's close

Allen vs Thompson at center? Allen is better, hands down

Okoro vs Nesmith, both rookie wings, who's better? Okoro is slightly better

Wade vs Pritchard? Pritchard is slightly better

So that's 3 spots where celtics have a small edge, 1 spot where cavs have a small edge and 1 spot where cavs have a big edge.

So celtics do have a slight edge overall, but it's close..cavs playing at home...and we're on 2nd night of a back to back. So i guess the 3 point lead at halftime for CLE makes sense.

I think last season was an aberration.

What's happening this season is what's supposed to happen after Kyrie and Horford left in 2019.

It's a quasi-rebuild once again.

Celtics started the season 8-3 since then the Celtics have gone 27-31. In my wildest imagination I never expected something like that to happen. Ouch!
