Cam slides into Burks’ slot behind RJ.
IQ & Rose behind Brunson.
Grimes might start for defensive purposes.
Evan as the 6th man or just the backup 2.

Missing anything?

We should probably find a way to get Rose or Evan outta here, for IQ’s development.

Rose is like Thibs son so not happening.

We should probably find a way to get rid of Randle for the development of the entire team.

He is running away from having to share the ball with Doncic. In Miami, he would have to share the ball with Butler and Lowry.

So he running here to share the ball with Randle. got it

But Randle does not use to get the ball from the defensive court too much. Brunson can grab the ball in the defensive end and chose not to pass the ball to Randle. Moreover, Randle is not very good. He eventually will realize Brunson is more efficient and let him dominate the ball. Or someone will take Randle out of the team.

You're gonna see some MAJOR POUTING if this goes down. Randle will probably join the other team's huddles during time outs! 8-)

Didn't know where to put this but Knuckleheads Podcast just had Allan Houston on and it makes me think that we'd be ok with him as the GM.

Brunson-

improved every year
top % at important offensive metrics- PNR, spot up 3
no significant injury risks
under 30

dude is a winning player and one could legitimately argue he contributes more to his team winning than Zach Lavine ever has on any team. Are you going to win a championship with him as your #1? hell no. He would've been at best the #3 best player on any of the Conference finals teams. But you need to start somewhere and paying 25m for a guy who will make his teammates better and has produced and still been a team player next to a guy like Luka is someone I'd want to give 25m to on my team....

4/110 is fine.

hes a Free agent and thats what you do, overpay. It's how the league works

I would rather watch this team fail with Brunson running the offense than watching another season of Randle walking the ball up into wing/post ISO.

Could they set the goalposts any closer in MSG?

Don't see Bamba coming here. Don't want to upset Mitch now that he's getting that bid extension.

Just tell Mitch that we made a mistake and negotiated with the wrong agent.

Bamba is 9000x more useful than Mitch ever will be.

Idk how Brunson does going from a 5-out spread offense to Thibs’ 1982 grind it out system with Mitch, Randle, and RJ all clogging the lane.

But yes, it is better than watching Thibs pretend Randle is prime D-Rose.

I don't get the hatred of Brunson, except people want some skinny long guy who can bust out something exciting once in a while. But I get that he's expensive. Almost no bargains in the NBA.
