By their standards? Pretty bad.

I knew they were bad, but how bad? Were they good in the wins and bad in the losses? Because bad by their standards doesn't mean much considering it was the best D in the league on the other side. This sounds like arguing but I really want to know.

I stick by, our offense will be more dynamic on a sustained playoff level from the two offensive upgrades (hopefully with PP and Hauser added too). Should be better in the moments you mentioned (end of game 4).

JT had one good shooting game in the entire series (Game 5). Every other game he shot in the 30s or low 40s. JB had two great games, two average games and two horrendous games. Both of them had 20+ turnovers in the series. Both of their scoring and efficiency dropped off in that series.

Jays should be better because instead of hedging off of Smart/Horford/Rob, none of whom could attack the basket, and clogging up the middle with a zone, like GSW and the Heat did, there will be superior spacing, because Jrue/Porzingis/White can all shoot, and can all attack the basket, or in the case of Jrue/Porzingis, both can shoot midrange and play in post; Jrue/Porzingis are also a true pick-and-roll combo that the Celtics never were able to feature before; Jrue/Porzingis are a better playmakers for other people than Smart/Horford; all of this WILL BREAK the zones that have been giving the Celtics trouble with their formerly wing centric offense, so, in theory, they should be a superior version of themselves, both in the regular season and playoffs.

Which I think is what Shak was trying to say.

I think I under-appreciate people who call the games, I mute most games, because they still have spunk no matter who is out there or what the score is. You have to love your job to do that. I would have gone to concession and had a few drinks at the end of this one, but they are excited that bagley is dominating folks I don't know. If I didn't know what was going on I would be excited by how enthusiastic their description is.

It'll be nice to watch a season where JT doesn't constantly defer to Marcus for a last second 3.

I somehow just remembered Nick Nurse is the coach of the Sixers now. They are going to be extra annoying lmao.

Now that Smart is gone, I'm looking At blaming all the problems and my ire directly in Browns direction.

You make way too much **** money not to be a difference maker.

Now wait, people don't go in on Smart! I didn't even mean to bring him up for this... this went left. Just wanted to say our offense should be on another level.

He will be back in a couple seasons anyway so keep his name clean!!

Yes, mostly. Thanks, this is the real reason I couldn't do pbp, I can't say it well enough! However, on one point, Al is one of the best passing bigs in the game, Porzi isn't touching that. Good thing we still have Al.

I forget half of the nba channels over the offseason, i have to guess a number in the range to find them again. Sad. I wanna say it's because I'm older but nah, I'm a lifelong scatter-brain. :o

Anyone watching the Pre-game on NBC-SB?
I'm not getting it, tonight.

7.5mil is not bad at all for PP! Can always use that as salary for trades too.

Brad has done such a great job.

Are we calling Tatum a future hall-of-famer now? :-? I'm not saying I hate it, but I'd like him to at least win one chip with a stacked roster first.

I mean that’s the path he is on (health pending), but I also wouldn’t care how Woj words it lol.

Mostly I love how badly they want Holiday.

Brad has done everything right.. except for 1 thing.. that is gamble this terrific roster that he basically rebuilt with the Js. But gave the job to a young almost no experience coach who never looked ready to "lead" a championship level team to a title.

We will see by season end if that "gamble" still pays off.
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..
