While Griffin fully annoyed me during training camp, I'll share why I've let up on him as of late. I've seen Dame Lillard get physical defensively late in games lately. He went toe to toe with Grant. That's something Lillard never had done in the past.

Griffins defense is more than just scheme, it's also about teaching to defend physically, they same as one of Griffin's mentors, Tom Thibodaux teaches.

Remember during camp when many wanted to cut one of the Bucks relatively intriguing youngsters to sign Reggie Bullock for his defense? Before Bullock played for Thibs, he was considered one of the worst defenders in the league. He read only in the NBA for his shooting. Then Thibs got stuck with him. He taught him to defend, and Bullock landed a $20 million contract because of it.

What Griffin is trying to do defensively is more than just teach a scheme. This isn't a regular season only scheme, it's something that can hold up when play is allowed to get rough in the playoffs. Waiting for results is the pain of player development, but I'd like to see this through. If Dame can force late game misses for Jerami Grant and Derrick White, then maybe there's something here with finding.

Party was pretty chill to start.

Charlie Bell brought pizza for everybody, Thon was signing yearbooks, Yi was even there guarding a chair, or was it guarding him? I can't remember.

But then Larry Sanders showed up with a bunch of Albanians and things got slippery quick.

Someone just won the internet for the day.

Almost 2.2 points per minute on over 65% TS by only 2 players is nice to see
