We don’t have a track record of doing that, and just hired a “developmental” coach. Plus, in a scenario where he develops, he’s a perfect fit next to Scottie. I just don’t see this happening.

There’s also a scenario where Gradey’s value is only going to go down more and more, and he is out of the league after his rookie deal. It’s certainly possible he could be included in the deal, and granted as a prospect upgrade.

Gradey’s value is rock bottom. We’re better off trying to develop him.

Also I hope Isiah Jackson is one of the pieces. This guy is like Robert Williams with more offense and lesss injury prone. I know everyone wants Walker or Mathurin. Not sure Mathurin is what we need.

Brown/Hield
Nesmith
Walker
Jackson

No picks necessary

I much rather Jalen Smith over Jackson. I have a feeling Indy has been waiting for Brown to become trade eligible.

Doesn't make any sense. Jalen Smith has a player option for this year @5mill. He's definitely not opting in and will become a UFA. Jackson is the better choice, still on arookie scale contract and will be cheaper.

Needs to get done quick because Scottie will need as many games as possible to adjust to the new shot variance that’s transpiring at the moment.

Yeah at this point I'll take my chances that he at least figures out to be a 38% 3 point shooter.

Siakam shooting 46% from deep the last 20 games should help erase any concerns that some teams might have regarding the effect he’d have to their spacing

Just like the OG deal

Probably a crazy thought. But what about the Knicks again? I haven't done any research into contracts or cap, but what would it take? Randle? What would even be the relative value of Randle and Pascal?

Just throwing it out there.

This season is a wash. We should want to build towards a better season next year. Getting into the playin will be an uphill battle. Even if we win both games we’ll get swept by the Bucks or Celtics.

That sucks. I see there isn't even bird rights with him. I feel like this guy can turn into an all star in a couple years.

I want it to be over with (just trade him) but offers could be more enticing closer to the trade deadline.

So, basically they only have one path. They can't even sign him.

There are going to be teams that have the itch to get him and spend more closer to the deadline. He can be a great 2/3 piece on a contender.

Yeah, the fact that he's shooting 33% from three on the year despite that absolutely brutal start he had is actually a pretty good sign. I can't imagine there are very many All Star level players with a TS% over .600 that are available on the trade market right now.

Oh, and Embiid's got those knee problems again. So, the pool's only going to get bigger as desperation mounts for these teams.

I’m one of the ones who actually likes kuminga but I’m praying it’s a good Indy package and not moody and kuminga, indys prospects are much more enticing. Prayingggg

The only way we get real value in trading him is to take on bad money and assets. The bad money needs to be a reclamation project like Hunter or Wiggins. Pacers to me don’t need to do this enough. I’m think Lakers/Hawks/Raptors three way trade. Hawks will give up real stuff to dump money and make it look like they aren’t losing on talent.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….
